It is indeed the legendary Greg Packer, if you search on Beatport (where I got the track from), and search "Greg Packer Physics if u know" it pops up, released on Fokuz Recordings. I had another bootleg from him as well and featured a couple of tracks, I think maybe in Feb there was Searchin For A Rizzla by Ratpack that he did a bootleg of, circa 2002? Some great tunes from that era that I'm always hunting down 😃

Cheers for the info mate. I'm so behind and know not much when it comes to how much digging I've done since 2001. As you can see I'm fresh and mixing on a midi keyboard haha. It's actually really awesome that it's all fresh at this point in time though.

@@braddyson43 We all start somewhere and I'm still learning all the time, been doing this on and off since 2010, just got to keep on going really! I only have a modest set-up too man but it doesn't matter, as long as it works for you and you're happy, keep doing it!

No they aren't actually, just stock pictures from the video software/pexels but I love natural scenery, hiking, outdoors etc. so good for the soul! I will probably start using travel pictures as I have a lot of them from my various adventures! August and September thumbnails already prepped and will be from my recent trip down to Cornwall, beautiful part of the UK!

I'm all about the liquid dnb/liquid funk vibes from the early 2000s to present day. This style of dnb is what I'm searching for, soulful liquid dnb - like you say, doesn't matter who makes it, if I like it, it's going in and then the art of finding other tunes to blend/mix in... love it! I'm happy you enjoyed this one :)

@@NickyHavey I'm 38 and have loved it since those days but I think I just love music mainly. Dnb been in my lists thru the years but I never digged like DIGGGED hard to really find some killer tracks like I'm finding now so I kind of never really understood it all. Had a realization watching a metalheadz set it was just like "Dude this all just like one beautiful big long journey that all these awesome people each get to be a part of and then play each others tracks each one a part of that journey." It's a beautiful communal idea that I really kinda didn't realize existed and I never felt while being in bands. Also found a cd I produced using Propellerheads Reason 1 from 2001ish. That was really cool to see what I was doing at that time as a silly teenager and I'm keen to produce some tracks again now.

P.s. I particualrly liked the transition from S.P.Y. & DJ Marky - Days Go Slow (Makoto remix) to ALB & Subdivision - Origins (Silence Groove remix) when it launched into some old skool jungalist massive! I wasn't expecting that, and it was seamless m8. Well done 👍

It was sunny when I wrote that bit, then the UK Summer kicked in again by the time July's mix was published! It's summer somewhere I'm sure lol! It's pouring with rain today but we at least have the tunes to provide some brightness today! Hope the artwork is going well and you're able to work through it this weekend!
