@@CaneGlue it's not healthy to play 10 hours without breaks. You don't have to do that.

Ok I said I cannot imagine playing one game for over 10 and a half hours but I did two mario odyssey all moons runs w/ breaks at 13 hours and 11 and a half respectively 💀

I think I lost about 5-10 minutes in Perfect Run because I died a few times

Create a text document with the most important information. Have solution videos ready in case you forget a colorless stain. Don't collect too many battle cards, you're trying to avoid as many battles as possible anyway. Try to do as many Excellents as possible at the beginning, then you have more potential for mistakes later. And you should also take a break on the first run. 10-14 hours can feel endless

You have to start a new file. Than after the Intro you have to save your file and go back to title. Now you can copy this file and after every reset you don't have to watch the intro. This also works for other games on the NSMB series.

Sailo did a run without nabbit and yoshi (6:19:01) but I'm actually happy with my pb

I played on a normal switch on TV but I use parallel a capture card with a PC and OBS Studio. I think emulators are banned for official speed runs..

Okay thanks! And do you use OBS to count the time too? Sometimes I see people using some software that counts split times per level too etc that's why i am asking.

Ja, danke. Hat mich sogar leicht enttäuscht das ich es nicht ins Video geschafft habe, aber ich war halt nicht der einzige Speedrunner. Ich find es außerdem schade, das es anscheinend nur eine einmalige Sache war...

~200 hours of training but my goal is sub 3:30

3:37:25 This time is only 12 sec faster, but marios movement is slower because toadette doesn´t need a penguin suit to swim fast and you can use better routes with toadette. So my only Mario wr is better than this wr. But sub 3:30 is my dream.
