That's not "teacher Olga Smirnova", she's a student in here.
I practice this exam every day for 14 days (updated). 1 day. I'm really happy they've started learning the positions. I've always struggled with them when the combination is more complicated. I'm a little confused with some of the combinations but practice makes perfect. 2 day. The jumps prepear you for more advanced ones and this is very helpful. Still a little confused.

Are the graduates of this class immediately accepted into companies? I can't imagine working so hard and being this talented, to not have a job waiting for you.
Some are; some are not. Ballet is extremely competitive. Many who are not accepted into companies in Russia, end up in Europe or America. Western dancers have to compete with them or other dancers who have been trained in the Vaganova/Russian style. It has worked to greatly improve the level of ballet in the West generally since the iron curtain came down.

I have watched several dancers attempt this dance and Vasiliev is without a doubt the very best. His technique is beautiful to behold ad is those powerful leg muscles. I never get tired of watching this.

Sarafanov e Osipova são tecnicamente perfeitos e prestam um merecido tributo ao imortal Rudolf Nureyev. BRAVO !

Level 2 would be 11- 12.
@@normamimosa5991 11-12 on September 1st. So depending when the video was filmed, they could be 12-13. If it's an exam, it's probably May, I don't know if 2nd grade has an exam in December as well.
@@astrid5161 It would depend on your birth month and years of general education. The academy provides both general and ballet education. Kids are accepted after they've finished elementary school which is 4 years. The academy's first year is "1/5" - 1st year of ballet, 5th year of regular academic subjects. The second is - 2/6. Someone who finished the 4th year of regular school earlier than normal may still be 9 at the time of admission for the 1/5 year (but likely pretty close to the 10th birthday) and hence 10 at the start of the 2nd year. Someone who has already finished the 5th year of regular school but is still 11 on September 1st, but who hasn't had enough training to pass the audition for available spots in the 2nd year may be accepted with the loss of an academic year. These cases are uncommon. The vast majority of kids in the video were 11/12 on September 1st.
