NEMEF NF2 Picked and Gutted
Had always wanted to try this one after watching a video on it when I was a newer picker. I think I waited too long as it was pretty easy in the end lol. Not sure I can call this one purple.

Funny little lock. Single pin picking it is arguably the hardest way to pick it. If you pick it in hand you can just kinda wiggle it and things will fall into place. Schlage Everest 29SL Picked and Partially Gutted

Interesting lock! Instead of 6 standard pins like most Schlage stuff, this has 7 sliders and a sidebar! It also technically has a check pin but it's right up front and so easy to set. This is kind of a warmup for the Everest 29SL Primus XP I guess, which has 5 finger pins and a second sidebar instead of that check pin. Ok I'm on a roll this week. After the last two BB videos, I was only one more BB from 5th Dan, so I poked at this lock the last day or so. This is a very difficult lock. This was my first pick, I was frustrated with it and thought I'd give it one go on camera and said I give myself 30 mins and I'll put it away. Got it just in time. Rare Chicago Lock Co Tubular UL Picked full 180!
This is an interesting one. Normally the Ace Tubular locks are just 7 pins. These however have pin-in-pin on 2-4 of them. This one has 3 PIP so it's similar to having 10 pins. Most of these videos don't show the whole 180 which would be required to unlock it, and since this one is a bit more special, I thought I'd do the whole thing. Quite tedious! It changes behavior each 45 degrees as the PIP...

Nice pick!! The Z is a tough one for sure
Thanks!
Shall I Tell ya how much I hate you for this amazing picking? No Way much more! But Congrats 🎉
Thank you! I've had this lock for well over a year. Every so often I take it out and poke at it, but today was the day!
Nice one 👍 Good picking 😊
If you forget to put the actuator in you might be able to open it with a American bypass tool because there is nothing blocking the keyway to the ball bearing release
@@idkidk4334 that depends on the cylinder of course. But either way always a good habit to test before you screw the retaining screw in.
Great video, Thanks!
Those and the primus variant are literally impossible to find. easier time seeing twin combis and nix pix locks for sale 😂😂
Yea they're strangely rare. I happened upon this one with a KA of the Primus variety as well. I might resell them in the near future.
@@TheNiXXeDresell them? Nah you should keep them lol you probably won't find another 😂 a lock I've never seen for sale is a arrow SFIC that has a assa twin style sidebar and 7 pin Yale lfic with the 5 side pins
Nice picking of Nice Ruko 👍 Cool done ✔️ Good luck 👍
Is there a handy list of what cylinders go in this series? (tried searching but very little luck), thanks
@@gprider1525 so there's not a list that I know of. But any lock that can come in Schlage KIK format will work. I know Sandman has a video on doing white to black in this way, but using paclock bodies. If you ask in LPU it's probably easier to rattle off a bunch of locks.

Holy crap. You've been on a roll lately, havent you? When are you going to buy the padlock for that? 🤠

Nice pick!! Looks like a pain in the ass! But fun at the same time haha
@@Hyperion_Darkness I didn't really talk about the challenge here but the side pins really are ping pong city. When you set 1-2, you drop 4-5. And when you set 4-5, you drop 1-2 if you aren't careful. The gins are the easy part.
@@TheNiXXeD I definitely need to get better with side pins. I have a twin 6k with gins on the way!

( 350 -420 euro ) . Cylinder Kaba ( Penta - Expert ) kosztuje 700zł. ( 150 euro) . Czy M&C można porównywać do Kaba ? - chodzi o trudność otwierania ? , bo cenowo to M&C raczej odstrasza klientów . Jak w takiej sytuacji traktować firmę M&C ?
When comparing pick resistance anyway, M&C don't even come close to that Kaba. I had a lot of fun picking the M&C locks. Even though they are dual mechanism, they isolate really well. Meaning you can pick the top stack and you'll get a notable false set and then you can pick the sidebar. The sliders also often don't have false gates, or the gates are ineffective too, making the sidebar easy. It's probably enough to deter an unskilled picker though for sure. They're ranked around Blue/Purple belt. The Kaba on the other hand can have 21+ pins in five different rows. Even with a low amount of pins, it's still ranked Red belt, but if you get it fully loaded, it's a Black Belt 2 lock. So similar to ICS in pick resistance.
😂😂 🔓
At one of my previous employers we used to use these locks to secure cash payment machines and I've never seen someone pick it. Well done Sir
Crazy! Thanks for the story!
Serwis YT dopiero pokazał mi Twoje filmy i zacząłem je oglądać. Pozdrawiam
Hi! Thank you! I do actually own a 3KS, but have not put a ton of time into it yet. I do plan on picking it eventually! I really want to get one in padlock form, but haven't found one yet. Currently the one I have was from a thumb turn, so it's a modular half euro. As for difficulty, in the LPU Belt system, ICS is Black Belt 2, and 3KS is Black Belt 1. 4KS actually reduced security slightly, and is only Red Belt. So ICS is the hardest of those locks for sure.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie.

@@sandman_locksport the only other thing I found that worked was a c-clip pliers 😂
Just bump the damn lock.
Not sure if serious but... in order for it to be valid for belt, you must single pin pick it.
Can it be bumped with side pins?
@@Archer1182 top stack is all standards, but I think it would be really hard to bump because of the side pins. I'm pretty sure just picking overset the rear ones and I had to drop tension slightly to release them. Plus you'd need a fairly restricted bump key.

Man, you helped me a lot yesterday on Discord! I managed to open both ABUS 72/40s of mine (both the black and the green one).
