Thank you for the video,it was really helpfull.Could you please create a video on best practices for swe2?
Does this video talk about the Technical Safety Concept or Functional Safety Concept?
Looks to me as a waste of time. Maybe some critical parts of SW should be tested like that but not everything for sure.
Hmm... this is not testing the SW at all, it is testing the test cases. Large carmakers require this method in safety critical applications, certainly not in all applications though.
Kindly my car vitara brezza automatic software upgrade please.
Thank You. great Lessons.
Love this videos. Question - what do you think of Ethernet / EtherLoop?
good
good
The sound is not really great I think you still need to work on that ... or add some transcript
Hmmm, sounds good on our end 🤔 Adding a closed captioning now 👍
Love you guys!

I think if you do MCDC coverage you will always catch the mutant?
Most of them, but mutants that introduce errors in data processing or calculation aspects outside of decision conditions may not be detected through MC/DC-focused tests.

Thanks for explaining the changes coming with ASPICE 4.0. How about any process areas for Mechanical Engineering, is it part of HWE hardware engineering?
No, they are not included. Intacs information letter edition 2022-10 contained mechanical engineering processes MEE.1 to MEE.4 as well, but they did not make it to current version.
Partially yes, spreaded over other proceases: SYSx and HWEy. Check Information Items description....
Thanks Florian! How is this related to other standards for software updates?
R156 is mandatory in the EU, together with R155 (Cybersecurity). These regulations require the use of a SUMS and a CSMS (CyberSecurity Management System), other standards for software updates and cyber security are not mandatory but can be utilized to satisfy the R155 and R156 certification requirements. Here's a summary of R155: ruclips.net/video/5fb8-ZwIs5o/видео.html
Thanks ❤
You shared guidelines numbers for cyclomatic complexity? In the context of a codebase, what level of abstraction should this number be measured at? Method/Function level? Class level?
Feel free to reach out via our website www.iprocess-consulting.com
How do we get “P” in the formula? In the context of a control flow diagram, I’m not sure what an “unconnected part” is. Can you provide a functional definition of this?
I think it means that in some function there are two individual, unconnected flows, in the examples shown in the video, there is only one graph, it is alone and by definition "unconnected" to other graphs hence p = 1
Amazing video👌🏽👏🏽. Very well done. I also appreciate the historical context that was added. Your unit tests link isn’t in the description

Very nice material Florian!
Great explanation
Hello, thanks a lot for this video! I dont‘t understand what does ist means the operational environment of s component. I would appreciate a lot an answer. E.g: I have a carry over component/ECU without modifications, in the architecture there are some changes, the „ direct“ Interfaces remain the same. Based on what I will decide which ist the operational environment for this component. Is the whole architecture or only the component with its interfaces?
Operational environment is described as operational use that can include use in a vehicle function, in production and / or in service or repair. That being said, there is no generic answer to your question, you have to do the analysis to determine if the change impacts the reuse of your component. Feel free to reach out to us via www.iprocess-consulting.com and we can have a more specific answer for you after learning more details about your system.
Here is the link to the sample phases: ruclips.net/video/RT9eJpzLKxc/видео.html
i Dont understand what are rteh hardware it is going to reduce by introducing Software defined vehicles??
The SDV allows for much more flexible use of hardware, either through domain controller style merging of resources or through networking features between various components. That overall leads to a reduction of HW per feature compared to the classic EE architecture.
Your videos are an excellent resource! I appreciate the tone, length, and topics. Have you considered drafting into a simple whitepaper for key topics? I personally would appreciate it :) and I believe it would add value to your company’s bottom line, since I could go to a manager with a white paper to introduce the topic, rather than link them to a RUclips video. Add a bit of credibility in terms of marketing and management optics. Thanks again and keep up the good work 🎉
Thank you very much for the feedback. We can provide a transcript for a certain topic if that helps, please visit www.iprocess-consulting.com for contact details.
Thank
Great video as always :) happy to see someone else is playing around with AI chatbot for ASPICE / ISO26262 topics
helpful video. I was getting confused. Sometimes I hear “baseline”, or “this was baselined”, and it seemed to imply “approved”, “passing”, or “frozen”, which is not always the case.
💪🏻 keep it up
but is it possible to adjust tailoring guidlines according to project needs.?
Yes you can, feel free to contact Roxana@iprocess-consulting.com for further info

Good initiative, kindly plan for more detailed lectures.
Thank you for your input, we will surely do!
Hii Your video is detailed. My concern is How SOTIF can impact on ISO 26262 requirements?
SOTIF requirements are complementary to FuSa (ISO26262) requirements. While FuSa requirements target failures in the system, SOTIF focuses on misuse of a system that is completely performing to spec.
Impact of SOTIF on derived safety requirements of ISO 26262 for ADS..With example

Hello Florian, when your are talking about branches, are you referring to Git? Or this is just an idea independent of the source control software
This is agnostic to the tool landscape you are using, easier to implement in git, but can be applied in just any structured data storage system.
