qurstion, can you make a tutorial like this, except that it will also defend like with wire turrets???? so it will have this stuff, but let's say if your going far away, you can input a code, or pull a lever it will turn a weaponized security system on to, as well as shoot them... this would be nice...
See if you can take this concept and make it automatically teleport them away or kill them.
NightHorder You could probably, but the tools that allow you to do that are most likely blocked on most servers.
I wouldn't know about that. I don't really play online much. I often just play on sandbox single player. I also can't find a way to make a wire teleporter move a player. As far as I can tell, wire teleporters move what they're attached to. However, with the use of a grabber, they can move objects (grabbers don't target/grab players, don't know about npc entities though)
You can do it with E2, but that requires a bit of coding knowledge
It's kind of convenient that I'm going to be studying programming next semester (I plan on studying as many coding languages as I need). What language is used in E2?

This isnt working for me... When I place down the HUD thing, there is no little green square, or any color square. there just isnt anything. Then when I wire it up, still nothing.. help?
Make sure the HUD indicator settings are correctly configured
I got that working, I found it didnt have a box checked, But do you know how to do this with a Ranger setup? The Detector turns on my alarm when people are just standing outside of my door..
When you were across the map and deleted the npc, you said it went from red to green, but where? I actually can see where you could see that

Hey man you know how u put your sound emitter where do we get the alarm sound any help?
If you mean how to make the sound emitter output an alarm sound, just go to the sound emitter tool. Then click open sound browser, in there you can choose from quite a few sounds. Then when you've found an alarm sound you want just click on it, then click send to tool gun. (If I remember correctly)

Quick question, so here is the scenario: Someone triggers the alarm, and the alarm goes off. How do you make it so once it is triggered, it will go off until somebody presses a specific button.
If the alarm goes off you can wire a button to the target finder so that it toggles it on and off depending on what it state is.

When i click the hud indicatir to next target. it turns red and stays red. any halp
What do you mean next target, as long as any target that is not you stand within the range of the target finder it should light up red, providing you changed the colors in the settings from a=red b=green, to a=green and b=red.
