I would love to live in a place like that!
I was looking for my son and grandson but didn't see them. Hoping to be there next year...we have to synch our visit with this show...my wife won't be happy...LOL
Thanks for featuring me!
You're quite welcome. 🙂

That is a beautiful drive. Mother Nature is awesome. Thanks for bringing us along.
Glad you enjoyed it
Looks yummy!
Ayap, That it is.
I love your videos, and I pray the Lord continues to bless you all!
Thank you
Thank you for watching
Brings back some memories. I was born in Woodsville and my Aunt and Uncle's home was shown (the white house on the left opposite the entrance to the Wal-Mart Super Center) near the end of the video. They are both now deceased and I haven't been back there in a number of years. Drove down 302/Rt 10 many times. Thanks for posting.👍
Your welcome. Thank you for watching. It's one of my favorite areas. I'm glad you got to see the old house.
Thank you for the complements. I truly enjoy large planters too. One day I'd like to also grow vertically still working on things. Keep your eyes open for more videos on the gardens.
The flowers look so beautiful!
Does it hurt to leave the dryer sheet on the back of quilt top?
I really have no clue.
I love using big pots , I plant zinnias and cosmos..they are beautiful too.
Wow! Great initial shot of the train, you paced it perfectly with the engine! Then the follow shot driving alongside it was terrific as well. I'm a professional audio describer, and your brother did a lovely job setting the scene for us at the beginning of the video. It's a dream of mine to do more audio description for railfanning content and rail tours. As a railfan yourself, what content do you wish had more audio description?
Thank. you for the complements. Yes I agree he does a great job describing. If I were getting the scene described I would want to know more about the train; ie. "Vermont Railway engine 307 a red engine with white lettering pulling a freight consisting of..." (and add in descriptions of the cars and what kinds of loads they are holding or if they are empty). It's nice to have a description of everything on the short trains. Also nice to have some one point out the sound differences to those who can''t see. Like the E.O.T. (End of Train Unit ) something that is heard from inside the vehicle when we were sitting still as we heard it through the scanner. I think more blind people could be interested if they knew what the sounds are. For instance, I can hear the difference between the sound of a passenger train and a freight. But not everyone knows the difference. Although the difference between a box car and a passenger car isn't so easily heard. Likewise having descriptions of scenery helps. However even if I get this described when I'm editing I don't always know were to insert the information. I'm open to suggestions.
Quite a bit of time on the VERMONT side of the river!!
Hi, those duck certainly are bossy. I am sure you are enjoying the warmth of that wood right now. On the other side of the world we have a heat wave. Cheers
It’s part of haverhill where I live
Vinegar in the rinse cycle tends to soften fabric, but in my experience is that it doesn’t help with static. Plastic dryer balls or wool balls in the dryer, again in my experience, are supposed to reduce static electricity but I haven’t found that to be the case 100% of the time either.
Great job, Great photography. You certainly live in a lovely part of the world. Cheer's bronne
Thank you kindly
Do you all like looking out the window like this or out the windshield?
Thank you all for liking my video
Love the calming nature of the music and video.😀😀😀
Thank you.
This was an all day project that was started at 3AM by my Mom and we finished rather late in the evening.
I agree with your mum. The differences in us all is lovely to see and what makes us all special and interesting. I am from Barnsley, South Yorkshire in England. This is one of the strongest of accents in England but officially the most friendly. Wish I still had my Mum as just time together talking like this is what I miss. Enjoy x
Thank you. Even though we enjoy spending time together it’s a challenge to get us all in the blogs.
Awesome idea. Happy to find this. Enjoy every moment together. I miss my mom.❤
Thank you.
Lovely drive on a rainy day..
thank you.
How many chicks do you think we have? Comment below with your guess.
This takes me back to when you taught me how to sew and make blankets
This is such genius idea!!! I have been saving my used dryer sheets to use for foundation piecing!!! Thank You!!
Is this save to leave the dryer sheet backing? I hear it's very flammable
If your uncomfortable with leaving it, then you can remove it. We did a test on regular quilting fabric and the dryer sheet. They are both flammable. My Mom talks about that in our second video on finishing the quilt. She removes the dryer sheet.
nah nah, thats North Haverhill, Haverhill's just before that big hill you go up next to the cow farm,
The Town of Haverhill is made up of 7 entities. It includes: Haverhill, North Haverhill, Woodsville, Mountain Lakes, and three others. Thank you for pointing out which of the villages I was in when recording.
welcome, @@michellegonthier6251
Love that you are sewing with your mom. I used to do a lot of sewing with my mom. She passed away in 2017. I miss her so much and our time together sewing. Enjoy every minute you have with your mom. ❤❤❤
It's a special thing to be able to sew with her. It's something I do enjoy. I'm glad you had a chance to sew with your Mom too.
Beautiful!😊
thank you.
Beautiful
Thank you.
The idea of dryer sheet quilting was taught to my Mother by her Mother. And then taught to me. It's the way to have interfacing when you can't get it. It works. And you can remove the dryer sheets after sewing. 🙂
Great idea!!
Thank you, I think so too.
What a COOL idea! I love repurposing stuff and this saves so much crap from being added to landfills, brilliant.
Thank you, glad you like it.
I liked the video, some thoughts, maybe you can narrate where you are, points of interest, things like that, sorta like Real Appalachia does on their channel. Just a thought, not a criticism. I really liked it.
Thank you, I will seriously consider that.
Thank you for the complement. I like your idea. And will check into that. Thank you of the suggestion.
I learned something new today. Thank you for posting this video!
Your very welcome.
Dryer sheets as stability what an awesome idea. Win win.
It looks beautiful! And the dryer sheet is a great idea. Thank you for sharing! God bless you both
You are so welcome!
I like you family and video!
Thank you.
I don't use dryer sheets at all, but save my 'color catchers' (or the off brand, Carbona color grabbers) which can be used for a very thin batting. I suppose they could be a foundation, as well. I use them in nearly every load of wash, and even using them about 3x each they can add up. Since they are quite durable, it seems such a waste to add them to the landfill. They make great reusable dust cloths, too.
That's a great idea. Although I've never used a color catcher myself.
Place a curved piece RSD on the dryer sheet & sew the curve, then turn it RSO and smooth out along the curve & press. It can be sewn down like an applique piece.
thank you for the pointers.
I’ve been using my used dryer sheets for years!
