Besides casting, some lures require twitching and jigging, doing that with your weaker arm is just fatiguing and plain wonky. I'm not even going to mention hook setting and fighting the fish.

ultra is not so good in the black sand it gives you more noise and not stable. but try in the white sand

a couple things you can do to help locate better. Wind your excess cable up tighter on the shaft going to the coil. You will get better reception. You need to get you a small garden spade that works for locating and a lot less chance of damaging your fines with the big shovel. sLOW YOUR SWING DOWN SOME SO DETECTOR HAS TIME TO READ GROUND BETTER AND DEEPER. KEEP ON DETECTING IT GETS MORE FUN THE LONGER YOU DO IT.

I also find it funny about some people who switch hand while using baitcasting setup, but it come to spinning setup they don't switch hand anymore and just reel/wind with the left hand ... why?! 😂 if they love to switch their that much after making a cast, just so they know the spinning reel handle is interchangeable. So it very confusing the way they think 😂

Can you do a barrel scan all of your channels and then just stopped on an active Channel? Then, when there's no noise on that channel and a restart scanning again through your the rest of your channels on the database of what you have programmed in or do you have to scan one department at a time

Location, Location, Location. I hunt parks when school is in and Schools when they are on summer vacation. In the coin mode I never come home with less than 40 to 50 coins in a 2-to-3-hour hunt. With the Ultra my settings are Field, Sensitivity I run high, today I ran it at 29, Iron I want on, Coin ID scale on and My recovery speed 3 or 4. All the rest of the settings are factory setting's. Today the grass started out a little wet and it changed the VDI numbers a little. After it dried it was dead on. I have no problems at all pulling 8-inch coins all day. The Ultra is designed to be a simple to use machine. My Simplex lite is also set up with the coin mode and will go just as deep. The Lite and Ultra will perform just as will in coin mode as my Legend. When I take some friends out I always us the lite and they get to us the so-called better machines.
