Enjoyed the video...nice to see a beginner after watching so many pros. The Ultra is highly adjustable and there are always ways around noisy environments. I couldn't see what your sensitivity was set to (it may have been too high), but one thing working against you was the excess wire down by your coil; it needs to be secured so that it doesn't move and give you any false signals.
I did not have to update mine through the laptop. I just hooked it into my OBD port, with help from Diablo customer service
Like your video. The strap/hook normally runs under the roller. You would need to install a u bolt with the appropriate washers but this would completely alleviate the issue you are having.
Hell yeah
That’s… a tent
Nope. That was the ceiling.
What in the wanna be
If you wear a tractor supply hat you might be a redneck. XD i was gonna do a joke taking words out to make funnier sentences but realized i couldnt XDXD
What a dumba$$
Need more likes. Brilliant
Either bro
This really works I do it with my mowers
It works great!
Good trick brother thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching.
How do you set the backlight to stay on?
Click the side menu button, go to display settings, go to set backlight, go to set mode, go to timeout, change the setting to either 10, 30, 60 seconds or infinite, which leaves it on constantly until you turn it off. It keeps the setting for the next time you turn it on.
I thought this was so you can pit like a 2x12 or something there. Then, you can store smaller stuff under and still carry 4x8 sheet goods on top of the 2x12
Good idea!
Just picked mine up a couple of days ago. Took a few hours of heavy research but once this thing clicks it's amazing.
Yes. It takes a lot of studying to figure it out but it works great.
Good idea to put a 4x4 post behind that.
You and I think alike.
No actually you don’t you’re just a follower of people who told you that
Sorry. I’ve never bought a right retrieve reel on purpose.
Dumb video
Literally zero stores carry left handed baitcasters. Why is beyond me.
Yeah. They are hard to fine. Whenever I do, I buy it.
Can I update it through my car? Or does it have to be plugged into my pc
I update mine over wireless internet. I think you can use your pc but I'm not sure. Just connect it to a WIFI connection and it should update fine.
Why are you showing us your 436hp turned off…this is a great video
I guess I thought it would be a good idea.
C'mon and dig it already!😂
Not a bad start ... subbed to follow the rest of your detecting journey...
Thanks!
Thanks for the hunt.
And I tried doing the Sentinel download it to my laptop, but Jesus Christ man there is so much stuff just to download it
This unit, like others, takes time to understand how to use and program it. It takes some time playing with the software to understand it. Once you figure it out, it will seem easy every time you program it again. Also, once you program it once, if you’re like me, you’ll rarely need to go in and program it again, u less some of the normal things you listen to change.
Have the same radio or scanner need to program it difficulty programming it. I’m getting very frustrated with this unit. Help need
This manual is much more helpful for me than the manual that came with the unit. new.marksscanners.com/536/436_536.shtml
I use a right hand reel with bait casters but a left hand reel with spinning rods 😂
I used to be that way before I converted to left hand retrieve on everything.
So just have to pull it out?
That’s it.
heads up bro, roundup is carcinogenic
The low levels we use glyphosate at are said by researchers to not increase the risk.
how is it going?!Never!Omg~ excellent dji. 📢
Liking the mic so far. Now I just need to find me a drone!
I haven't seen anybody find silver or gold with the ultra have you?
I’ve found a silver quarter and a dime but wasn’t recording at the time. 2 separate hunts.
Besides casting, some lures require twitching and jigging, doing that with your weaker arm is just fatiguing and plain wonky. I'm not even going to mention hook setting and fighting the fish.
Agreed. Thats why I like having my dominant hand wrapped around the rod, instead of my left.
ultra is not so good in the black sand it gives you more noise and not stable. but try in the white sand
I thought the same thing while I was out there.
@@Never_Enough_Outdoors but in the white sand ultra is better
@@rogermaglimas3857 Yes. It worked great in the dry white sand.
I love my Ultra but I don't live near any saltwater beaches to hunt. It looks like the beach is Kryptonite to the Ultra. They say a detector that is multi-frequency is more suitable for beach hunting.
@@CLEOTISJAMESThanks for the info. It was my first beach trip since I’d bought it, so I thought I’d take it and give it a whirl.
Sorry, that's Digging up New York
Yes. I just happened to subscribe to him a few hours ago. Thanks!
Also try watching Digging New York He talks about when to use the ground suppressor on the beach
Also Take the bigger coil on the beach
Thanks for the tip. I had researched what coil to take and all I could find was people using the smaller one and bragging about it. I’ll take the standard coil next time and try it out.
Read up on the Ground Suppressor on your detector. In Beach mode.
Ha! First thing I did when I got back to the house. It will take many more beach trips for me to get the hang of it, but I will take what I learn on each trip with me to the next.
I had a horrible time with the deus one on the beach, it was screaming at nothing in the wet sand, I couldn't get the ground balanced settled, the legend was much better, and I don't even have salt water here, it's all fresh water around here, but we do have black sand on the water line 8:43 hot rock maybe, I'm surprised the pinpointer didn't hit on it 16:48 that's off a vape Yeah the sand somewhat preserves stuff, my area is ancient shorelines, like even the regular soil is super sandy and I noticed when I pull pennies out of the sand that have been in the ground forever, like 1940s pennies, one side is like mint, and the other side is corroded, I guess the side facing down stays mint, and the side facing up gets all the rain and gets bad 30:06 I've found nails on the beach before, you can't get away from the nails no matter where you go lol, theyve just been used so long I guess they are a ubiquitous find 33:30 all real beach hunter finds stakes, I watch a few beach hunters on RUclips, I've also found stakes at festival grounds where they have vendor tents, like Ribfest, and keys for their lock boxes That's the great thing about water proof machines is you can just hose it off to clean the salt water and such off Good hunt
a couple things you can do to help locate better. Wind your excess cable up tighter on the shaft going to the coil. You will get better reception. You need to get you a small garden spade that works for locating and a lot less chance of damaging your fines with the big shovel. sLOW YOUR SWING DOWN SOME SO DETECTOR HAS TIME TO READ GROUND BETTER AND DEEPER. KEEP ON DETECTING IT GETS MORE FUN THE LONGER YOU DO IT.
Thanks for the tips!
i hook at the hole where the line is😅😅😊
Push the function button (above the menu button) and then press down on the top knob (volume button). Twist the knob to change the setting.
How do you adjust squelch ???
If you press the green antenna button on the side and then press the knob on the top, you should be able to adjust the squelch.
Nice hunt, I subbed to your channel. Happy Hunting
Thanks. It beats working, if nothing else.
I usually find 10 or 12 guage shotgun headstanps, dont think i ever found a 16
I usually fine 12 or 20 here.
I had a German Shepherd that was just like that man he’d catch him right out the sky
How do you buy new license, trying to buy one off market place but is says I need to buy license because none remaining
I believe you purchase it and either download it or they email you a link to download. And then you connect your tuner to the computer to install it. It’s been a while for me, but I think that’s how it works. www.holley.com/products/tuners_and_programmers/ignition_store/
@@Never_Enough_Outdoors do I have to buy the thing for 150$?
@@AlexSetlak Yes. But I would look for another one that doesn't need a new license or purchase a new unit if you can afford it. Here is the manual for reference. documents.holley.com/intune-i3-manual.pdf
For some reason working things like Topwater frogs feels weird with the rod in right hand
Do you like that quantum?
Yeah, I only by baitcaster combos on sale so I usually have the cheap stuff. Works well though.
@@Never_Enough_Outdoors I just grabbed a Pflueger yestersay but I didn’t realize it was left handed until I put line on it lol
The works are twice the size of the holes.
