What do you fo for a shower and washroom
Nice build!
Being a carpenter GC contractor, this is the best set up! Great job. The best thing is it is detachable!! For TRUCK USE! Simple is always the best. I am building an Overland Mission Camper or I would do this.
Enjoying the channel, new sub here. Just started my own channel and having a blast with it. Well done and keep up the good work. Be safe.
Sweet, im about to do a build on my 2019 f250, you gave me some great ideas
Beautiful work! How did you attach/hang the overhead cupboards? Our original set-up is with an aluminum canopy and we were able to hang the overhead shelves from the interior frame, but we will probably end up with a fiberglass canopy for our new rig and don't know how to attach them to fiberglass.
Thats a sweet setup!
would you consider providing the plans for this incredible build? Great Job!
@@daltonprice1268 Ah, unfortunately, no, I didn’t make a plan when I was building it, and I’m unlikely to have time for that anytime soon..
Attention to detail is easily seen.
👍
What size bed?
@@andrewswift3431 Yes, I have a RAM 1500 with a Short Bed, so the length is about 67 inches.
absolutely awesome build, one of my favs.
How did you bolt that cabinet onto your ceiling?
Badass setup
How hard was it to add the cabinet to the roof? Im just worried about it coming down or damage. Did you just screw into the plywood layer on top, or did you do more?
@@DeliberateNRandom hey, Yes, I mounted the cabinets to the ceiling with about six screws, but the ceiling doesn’t sag. There’s a fairly thick layer of fiberglass, about an inch, and the screws hold very securely in it without poking through to the outside. Overall, I think this construction is very sturdy.
How much it cost everything? Where is your location ? Thanks for sharing!
@@donaldlawan5763 I think I spent around $9,000 on all of this. The biggest expenses were the Blueetti and the 5G modem, but those two components are what made camping as comfortable as it could possibly be. I also invested some money into learning woodworking since I had no prior experience with anything like this. I’m in NC.
Taylor Made- Just Mad skills and to me it looks a little Nautical and High end! Just got my 1st gen Tundra. I know what I'm gonna do now with it now and mostly how I am going to do it. Beautiful Job! Some people just keep on turning it uP- I have my eyes open for whatever you are bringing next.
Really nice job on this. I have a lot of work to do on mine.
Wow well the nicest one so far I’ve seen
Yeah I normally use 3/4” ply but think for this build I’ll use 1/2”. There was another product I looked into a while ago that was crazy lite but forgot the name plus not sold around here in NC. I will use your video as a guide.
@@berniedapkevich884 If I were to do this again, I would definitely choose cedar instead of regular plywood, as it’s much, much lighter. My current build turned out a bit heavy, and lifting it into the truck can be somewhat inconvenient. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I’d still go with cedar next time for the added ease.
This is a bad ass build. A tip of the cap to you!
I saw a video where a guy bolted his diesel heater to a tire step. Worked like a charm to hold the heater without being on the ground or needing to be propped.
This camper is incredible 😮excellent work!!!
Omg! this is amazing, love it!
Nice job 🙂
What power generator is that ?
@@byejustin1 hey, it’s Bluetti ac200max.
@ wow love you for the fast reply hahaha I’ve seen many people say good things on RUclips but online they have bad reviews about bad customer service have you had any problems with this generator ? And how long does it take for it to charge with solar ?
@ sorry for the long reply I’m doing research as I live in my truck saving to buy a camper and a power supply I work at McDonald’s and I’m 20 living in a ford ranger currently lol things will be better tho I’m saving hella money
@@byejustin1 Wow, that’s awesome! It’s really inspiring to see you working towards your goals. Keep it up! About the generator, I did have one issue with it, but overall, it’s been a great device. I’ve had it for over two years now, and around a year ago, I noticed that it would suddenly show as completely drained, even though it had recently indicated around 20-30% charge. I reached out to their support team, and honestly, they were pretty helpful in my case. They responded quickly and provided a special firmware update for my specific serial number, which I could install on the Bluetti through my phone. They also recommended doing a full discharge and recharge cycle-draining the Power Station completely to zero until it shuts down, and then charging it back up to 100% in one uninterrupted session without any additional load. After doing that, I definitely noticed an improvement, though I’ll admit I’m still a bit cautious and try not to let it drop below 40%, just in case. But that might just be my personal experience. Overall, the generator has been excellent, and I haven’t had any other issues with it. As for solar charging, I have a flexible 100-watt solar panel on my roof. On a sunny day, it provides around 75-80 watts of power. With that setup, and with nothing else connected to the Bluetti, it takes about 5-6 days to fully charge it from empty. Hope this answers your questions! Let me know if you have any more.
Excellent job!
Hands down one of the best builds I’ve seen on RUclips. I thought I had a favorite one but now I have a new fav. Cheers!
Love this build, I'm going to try and copy that sink side. What sink is that by the way. I'd love the name of it or a link if you have one. Thanks in advanced.
@@five99mike You might be surprised, but this isn’t actually a sink-it’s a dog bowl! If you want to find it online, you can try googling something like “insulated dog bowl,” and I’m sure it’ll pop right up in the search results.
Awesome set up and even better inspiration for my future layout. I’m very intrigued by the over head storage area.. May I ask, what was the process of securing that to the topper?
@@EthenHoops-st6ru Hi! Thank you so much for the kind words! I used simple topper clamps to secure the shell. They’re really affordable and can be found on Amazon. Hope this helps with your project!
@@yury.bushev thank you for response. But sorry my previous question might have not been very clear. I was asking how you secured the overheard storage to the shell itself, not the shell to the truck…
@@EthenHoops-st6ru Oh, I see now! It was actually pretty simple. I attached the cabinet to the fiberglass shell on the ceiling just by using screws. The roof of the fiberglass shell is pretty thick, almost like it’s double-layered. There’s a gap between the two layers, with some kind of corrugated fiberglass in between. So, half-inch screws fit perfectly in there without poking through the other side. It’s really sturdy because the fiberglass is thick enough. I drilled a few holes and then used about six screws to secure it.
@@yury.bushev great to know! Thank you very much Yury!!
Awesome build...I'm inspired!
Can it be scale down to fit a Ford Ranger?
Love the ideas I'm going super simple with mine 8' bed cabinets cooking area at back solar and Battry bank heater roof fan extra thick padding and carpet lawn chairs 💺 in the day sleeping bags at night daily driver when time for adventures hook up to trailer and gone 👍 it's very impressive the amount of work and thought put into the builds with the induction cook tops and eas of solar building something simple for small family or few friends to get out and about is very responsible to build and pays for itself if you utilize it
Beautiful , I like it , How long is the bed ? and if you can make a change to go from front to the back without go outside That would be better
@@m1234a1 hey! The bed is 6’4” since I have a short bed truck. I also purposely made no modifications-no screw holes in the truck or anywhere else-because I never know when I might have to sell the vehicle or anything. Cutting a door between the cab and the outside felt too risky for me. :-)
Yury, I’ve just over the past 3 months started to look for ideas to build out my ‘24 Ram 2500 with 6.4’ bed. This has put all those saved videos in the trash! My question to you is if you would be willing to sell the plans so that I may place this amazing build in my truck. Please let me know. Appreciate your time and of course great job!
@@berniedapkevich884 Hi, Thank you so much for your kind words and interest in the build! Unfortunately, I don’t have any plans or blueprints, as I made and planned everything on the go while working on it. Looking back, one thing I’d definitely improve is making the whole structure lighter. I’d use materials like cedar because the current build turned out quite heavy, and honestly, it doesn’t fully justify the weight. That said, I’d be happy to take some detailed photos of the setup in a few months once I get my truck back from repairs. Hopefully, that will give you a clearer picture if you’d like to adapt some of the ideas to your own build.
That's a cool setup. I love it. i want to do that on my truck to
I love this so much. Do you sell your design or work with others to build?
@@purpledreams8017 Thank you so much, I’m really glad you like it! I don’t sell the design or work with others to build it because I’m not really skilled at making detailed plans, and that wasn’t my goal here. I just made this setup for myself and decided to share it here. If there’s something you like, I encourage you to go ahead and make it! And I’d be thrilled if this project inspires you in any way.
@@yury.bushev Thank you for your response. Your work is definitely inspiring.

Love it
What camper brand is that? Or type?
Simply perfect!
What was used as the inlet for the diesel heater? And how was the inside duct connected to the inlet?
And the winner is!: your setup ❤
Do you have a tutorial and tips and other helpful info about your sink setup for beginners?
Surly simple, love it.
... I loved your Yeti dog bowl sink!! .
Haha, thanks for noticing, man! 😄 That Yeti dog bowl sink was definitely a unique experience to put together. Glad you liked it!
