My main reason is that it involves the ocean and sea creatures. I've always had an interest in the ocean and the animals that live in it. And orcas happen to be one of my most FAVORITE animals, so I remember when I first played the game, I was in awe that an orca turned out to be a pivotal part of the storyline! ❤❤❤ And it's such an AMAZING moment when you finally have Nancy get an up close and personal encounter with her!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Deception Island has also made me want to go to Washington and check out the whale museum mentioned in the credits, as well as spot wild orca pods! But I've been wanting to do that for a long time before this game, and really from the first time I saw Free Willy, one of my favorite movies ever, in 1993. 😉😊❤

And now you have an awesome full walkthrough for The Haunted Carousel! 😁😁😁 Despite the word "haunted" in its title, The Haunted Carousel never scared me, nor do I think it's a scary game in any way. When I first played it, I remember being surprised with its lack of scares and hauntings, considering that the teaser featured at the end of Ghost Dogs made it sound much scarier and more sinister. Heck, I don't even consider Ghost Dogs to be a scary game, even though the first appearance of said dogs "attacking" the house is a bit frightening. On the other hand, Message and Thornton Hall, however, do get my votes as being some of the scariest games in the series, with the scariest of all being Shadow at the Water's Edge!!! 😱😱😱 Now I do like The Haunted Carousel because I like most of the earliest games than later ones, but it's not ranked among my favorites. However, one of the minor reasons I do like it is because it has several hidden cookies and references to its most recent predecessors. My favorites ones are the red handprint on the door inside the roller coaster, which references Secret of the Scarlet Hand, and the Barnacle Blast game mentioning "Nick F." and "fight the power", which references Nicholas Falcone and his catchphrase in The Final Scene. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

And now you have an awesome full walkthrough for Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake, my most favorite Nancy Drew game of all! 😁🥰❤ Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake is my favorite game for two main reasons: one, I am a dog lover, so having dogs be part of the plot of a Nancy Drew game was awesome; and two, it takes place in Pennsylvania, which is my home state. Other reasons I love it is because it's yet another history mystery that involves finding treasure, and it takes place out near the woods. As a nature lover, I love to explore forested areas, and one of my favorite outdoor activities is birdwatching, so I always enjoy birdwatching and exploring the forest when I play the game. I have the path to the cemetery memorized in my mind by now, so I don't even need the map. 😉

And now you have an awesome full walkthrough for Secret of the Scarlet Hand! 😁😁😁 Scarlet Hand is another one of my favorite games because it's another history mystery, the kind that I love most among the Nancy Drew games, that involves finding treasure. The scribe's notes you find at the tail end of the game isn't a typical treasure, but I consider it treasure considering the monetary value it has, which is obviously the reason why Taylor was after it in the first place. And this is the game that introduced us to the Koko Kringle bar! Who would have ever guessed that it would become a staple object in Nancy's world and reappear in many succeeding games??? 😁😄😆

And now you have an awesome walkthrough for The Final Scene!!! 😁😁😁 My history with The Final Scene is that it was my third Nancy Drew game. I was given Treasure in the Royal Tower as a 13th birthday present, then I played Message in a Haunted Mansion, which was my sister's game, and then for the following Christmas, I got The Final Scene, Secrets Can Kill, and Stay Tuned for Danger as presents. By the time I got these three games, I had hit dead ends in Treasure and Message, so I was eager to play new games. But I ran into dead ends with them as well, and my gaming was on hold. However, once I finished Treasure, I made a vow to finish all the other games as well, and that's just what I did! 😁😁😁 With this game, I hit a dead end because I didn't know you had to get the tip of the wand covered with that gum in order to get the big gear, and once I did everything that held me back in the other four games, everything worked out from there, and I had fun finishing them! 😁😄 It's interesting that this is the only game in the series where Nancy calls the police, but with this being Nancy Drew, of course the cops are going to be incompetent and unhelpful in solving Maya's kidnapping! 😠 Great job on this walkthrough! 😄 I can't wait to see more! ❤

And now you have an awesome full walkthrough for Treasure in the Royal Tower! 😁😁😁 So I know I've mentioned this on your previous walkthrough, but my fondest memories of playing Nancy Drew games are invested in TRT, along with MHM, because it was the very first game I ever played, and the first one I ever solved to the end! 😁😄🥰❤ I enjoy pretty much everything about it, from the soundtrack to the puzzles to the hunt for the long-lost diamond. As I said on your MHM walkthrough, one reason I enjoy that game is because of the secrets you find it, and then finding secrets continues with this game, with finding the secret entrance into the library with the duct AND the secret tunnel/corridor that leads to the queen's tower! 😁😄😍 Finding the way into the tower was a very exciting moment for me when I first played the game, because for a while I hit a standstill and couldn't figure out what to do next to keep going. Turns out I had that problem because I didn't move the elevator to the first floor to get it out of the way and access the secret door to the tower. Once I did that, I went through the library, disabled the alarm, crawled through the duct, and made it through the door. After that, I was able to proceed with the game normally and finally finished it. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 After I solved TRT, I made a vow to finish all the other games that I had started playing, but hadn't finished, which I did. And the rest is history for me. ❤❤❤

After watching her, I began playing MY first game with Treasure in the Royal Tower, and then I started playing Message in a Haunted Mansion. Since these two games were my first, I have my fondest memories of the series especially invested in them. 😊🥰❤ Among other things, like the treasure hunt, the soundtrack, and the hauntings, the main reason I adore MHM is because of the secrets in it, and by "secrets", I don't just mean secret passages and tunnels, but secret compartments and hidden objects used in the compartments and rooms. In this game, secret rooms include the attic, the one in the library, and the one behind the saloon, where Charlie lives. In fact, I noticed MHM was really the first game in the series to feature secret rooms or passageways, which was done in many of the succeeding games. Some only one had while others had several, and their importance to the games' plots always differed, but I always particularly enjoyed the games that had hidden, secret passages or rooms where you would uncover more secrets. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Great job with this walkthrough! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I can't wait for the one of Treasure in the Royal Tower! 😉😉😉
