My father-in-law was a stagehand in Las Vegas for many years. He said the nicest performer he ever met in real life was Don Rickles. On stage hilarious, offstage a true gentleman. You would even tip the stage hands on some nights when he was not working.

Mom and dad went Vegas in early 1970’s And while eating my Cheerios before school listened to mom and dad still laughing and they can’t tell us about the show… peaked my curiosity I sincerely tear up watching these stories Mr Warmth doc made my 95 year old mom cry Thanks for sharing

In Oakland county, Michigan, Pine Knob is the well known local venue for musical performances. I was shocked to see that Don Rickles once performed there!! I would have been there to see him but I wasn’t born until November of that year 😂 Thanks for uploading this.

It's heartening as well as entertaining to see that Don, even this late in his life, could still give you a master's class in comic timing and storytelling. I hope that your channel can access more material from closer to the prime of his career, and perhaps share more reminiscences from the people who knew him.

His roasting of other races has more humanity in it, than today's hyper-moral, pseudo-sensitive, sleazy wokeness.
