OKC Is just trying things at this point cause last year all the pressure was on shai, and cause of the injuries they’ve had plenty of minutes available in the rotation so if you’re winning, no need to worry about Jalen he’s taking more shots and doing more ball handling since we traded giddy who was a lot of times our ball handler in bringing it up the court and the passing game he’s just going through a slump he’s getting more attention, he’s getting fouled a lot too, dude was playing centre minutes this year and big minutes while ball handling and is averaging he’s got 21.5/5.8/5 in 32.5 minutes a game, 39th in the league with a usage rate of 27.6, sec .1 behind Curry in 27.7, booker at 27.8%, LeBron at 28.4, whilst last year he was ranked 100th in the league and he’s 23 years old and it’s his 3rd year and he’s still working on his game look how much progress his made, his bleacher report player comparison for current pro’s at time of draft was Ayo Dosunmu… from Chicago and 6th ranked SG at the time, he’s just getting better and better and developing his game what we consider a shooting slump is him shooting at 48% season average, his fine he’s still hitting nearly 40% on 3’s once he starts getting the whilst it’ll be over when we get Chet back who’s an offensive threat who can also be a lob threat/3 point threat for spacing and defences to lay off him or when he’s leading the non shai minutes no panicking
JDub slump is like a 3 out of 10 for concern level he should be fine but it’s lasted a bit longer than expected… Paul George and Keegan Murray current slumps for example are like a 7 out of 10 concern level much more worrying especially given the records of their teams
The referees ruined it for me. They control the game. It's too obvious that it's not consistent. Nobody watches because everybody's hurt. Thunder players have to get socked in the mouth to get a foul called. The other team falls down for a shadow coming at them and get the call. It's ridiculous.
Aaron Wiggins really wanted North Carolina to be proud of him. I think he appreciated the team at his high school ceremony. He had a good game.
Ajay does better with every game. Really like him.
I can't wait to see Chet back. I hope they start Shai, Lu, Chet, IHart & JDub. They have a great bench with JWill, KWill, Cason, Ajay, Caruso, Aaron, Isaiah Joe & Dillon. Nikola out for season. Keep all of them. Good for trades: Carlson, Dieng, Ducas & Flagler. Would the Nets trade Cam Johnson for any of those 4 with some picks?
If Ajay Mitchell can be a Peyton Pritchard type A+ draft pick
Ajay fits in with the team without any effort. He was a steal as a 2nd round draft pick.
Yeah, next one is the big one guys, the Grizzlies, about as scary as their nickname
I don't want Cam Johnson at all. Unless it were obviously favored to okc, like Cam for Joe only ofc. I like SGA, Dort, Jalen, Chet & I Hart over any starting 5 that would include Cam. I pray OKC does not fall for this trade trap.
Jalen is fine. If "the book is out" on him, we havent lost a game under said book lol I'll take that all yr. Plus Chet is coming back, it'll be really hard for me to see him "struggle" at all once the death lineup is finally unleashed.
I feel like the thunder coaching staff is giving all the current options a very light leash just to let the young players fully hoop rn. We’re ahead in the standings while missing our second guy. We can afford to fast track development by letting these young guys loose. Let these guys make the most of it, keep the rotation fresh and be generous with experimental minutes while we can afford it. (Hopefully) once fully healthy, this freedom will pay dividends to our confidence and the stopping power of our bench pieces once we have all our weapons to utilize. I became a Thunder fan because of Russ, I stayed because of the versatility, and I love to see the team performing well even when things aren’t perfect on paper. Masterclass in front office/coaching management. Gonna be a fun season, and many more to come 😁🌩️
@@haysmolm4293yeah they’re just trying things at this point cause last year all the pressure was on shai, and cause of the injuries they’ve had plenty of minutes available in the rotation so if you’re winning, no need to worry about Jalen he’s taking more shots and doing more ball handling since we traded giddy who was a lot of times our ball handler in bringing it up the court and the passing game he’s just going through a slump he’s getting more attention, he’s getting fouled a lot too, dude was playing centre minutes this year and big minutes while ball handling and is averaging he’s got 21.5/5.8/5 in 32.5 minutes a game, 39th in the league with a usage rate of 27.6, sec .1 behind Curry in 27.7, booker at 27.8%, LeBron at 28.4, whilst last year he was ranked 100th in the league and he’s 23 years old and it’s his 3rd year and he’s still working on his game look how much progress his made, his bleacher report player comparison for current pro’s at time of draft was Ayo Dosunmu… from Chicago and 6th ranked SG at the time, he’s just getting better and better and developing his game what we consider a shooting slump is him shooting at 48% season average, his fine
If Ous can’t get minutes in a game where Dillion Jones was atrocious…then he isn’t getting minutes anymore.
We got lucky that Thunder legend, Tre Mann didn't drop 30 on us lol
Love being a Thunder sicko. Couldn’t ask for more rn
I'm telling ya! 😆⛈️💙💪
@@scottpaddlety8741ain’t it the best?? We are so blessed.
Facts honestly so blessed be a thunder fan, like we can go a couple seasons to rebuild and other teams be struggling feels like just a year ago we were shutting shai down and tanking and then drafting hit after hit Sam Presti you are a wizard 😂🖤
DJ wants the ball in his hands from what I have seen
I am there
Wiggins, Ouse, DJ for Cam Johnson and Cam Thomas
No need for Cam Thomas, he's empty calories that's going to want a big payday next season.
Hell naw
Dillon Jones is not a NBA player
Dillon is just a rookie at the beginning of the season. Let him have some G league minutes & keep a watch on him.
Yes finally a thunder pod to talk about the thunder
Chet mate that like button🔥⚡️
I love Ajay. Do you think the Nets want Carlson, Ducas, Flagler or Dieng for Cam Johnson & some picks?
I saw that Lu Dort, Cason & Caruso were out tonight on the Charlotte game. That is scary! Shai, JDub & IHart will have to work hard!!! I don't want to lose to the Hornets. What do you think?
Nice glasses. Thunder up.
Will we still be getting a quarter season grades video?
Great content, as always! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
And there are a lot of excellent guards, and big ones, in this lovely draft. I’m also expecting Chet, with IHart in, to ramp up his threes.
Give Sam time and the do something yesterday fans just chill.
SGA⚡️MVP
I want to see Mitchell in the starting lineup he has been so good coming off the bench we should award him and see what he can do in the starting role
With the second unit, he can develop into the team’s tertiary playmaker
@@karimw.9954 Wise observation. John Havlicek, one of the greatest ever, for years was the Celtics’ sixth man (as was Frank Ramsey.) Ajay is doing just fine.
Let’s not even think about trading Joe… I would be to sad
I’m fine with people like Joe and Wiggins shooting lots of threes, even if they are missing, we know Joe and Wiggins are good shooters, especially Joe. Everyone has off games and cold streaks but we know Joe can catch fire and we know he will. Now for SGA and JDub when it’s not hitting for them like if they are 1-5 or something I really want to see them take it in more. Especially JDub, I love seeing him going and he’s so good with it. When the shot isn’t there JDub and shai need to take it in
I think eventually this team is going to need a true 3 & D four who can close. Joe is great and Wiggins is a winning player but I think they are strongest off the bench
Pacers always play the Thunder tough. They are talented and should be higher in the standings than they are. Joe and Wiggins should be moved. Mitchell and Flagler can take their minutes. Flagler should be coming back soon.
Ill be 8th row behind our bench tomorrow. THUNDER UP!!!
It must be nice to have a candidate who gets a fair shake. As a Mavs fan, I wouldn’t know anything about that. Our guy averaged 34/9/9 last year and took his team to the Finals. He beat three 50 win teams in the Playoffs to get there. But that wasn’t enough. Why? And don’t you dare bring up defense because Joker couldn’t defend Kurt Rambis. Damn shame the way the league has ignored 77.
MVP is a regular season award.
@ Okay, 34/9/9 regular season stats….
They should use this next game to get the bench some rhythm
Aj Mitch Roty convo 🎉 Hart gotta finish. Joe will be fine. Like the aggressiveness from 8. It will come. Mvp Sga this game. Great game by Thunder.
When I get to the “in my generation” age, I can’t imagine that I’m gonna debate “mannnn you know who use to be able to get open a lot? Who use to generate really good looks. Isaiah Joe mannn. They weren’t going in but mannnn he sure could………. Blah. Wtf are we talking about?!? Idc about sample size, idc about percentages, idc about shot generation. Did the ball go through the net? Good shot, bad shot, contested, wide open, half court heave. I DO NOT CARE. Did the ball go through the hoop? Otherwise what is the point of mentioning a sample size. A shot diet. I want to see the ball go in. 1-7 with the added caveat of “well over the span of his career he usually makes….”. Is he making the shot now? That’s what matters. Sorry for the rant.
Kenny Hustle cont to amaze! WS/48 1-SGA .297 2-Kenny .260. JDub..174. Cason .129. He's got 2nd best FG% & 3P% on team. His FT% a big turnaround. 17-39 in 23'. 7-14 last yr. This yr 8-8.
🌩️🥶🔶🌩️🔶🥶🌩️ THUNDER🆙
You said the same thing in the middle of last year season about Isaiah Joe 3-point shooting, 50 something games later, you are still saying the same thing. It's time for you to face the fact that Isaiah Joe is trash.
Isaiah Joe shot 41% from 3 in the playoffs last season and 41.6% in the regular season. If he was the Isaiah Joe of last season things would be better. He is at 36% shooting this year. Last year he had one blistering cold spill a 34% month in December. Everyone knows the facts. Isaiah Joe is streaky and the Thunder could stand an upgrade from its current roster not relying on him as its only shooter
If I’m being honest I’d rather them struggle now and then figure it out in the post season than shoot great but then shoot poorly like they did in the nba cup
Question for a future mailbag: how can Mark find more minute for Aaron Wiggins? Is Wiggins’ problem that he isn’t the playmaker/defender that Ajay Mitchell is or 3-point shooter that Joe is?
I love what I’ve seen from Ajay Mitchell! I hope he continues to get minutes and progress as a playmaker/scorer.
This was a great comeback win for OKC they need to take care of Charlotte on Saturday cause they got a hell of a 7 game strech after that!
Joe and Wiggins gotta do something or they need to be traded. Need more *consistent* scoring off the bench
Its probably hard for wigs and joe to get consistent rhythm due to mins, role changes, injuries, in season tournament, and even different opponent responsibilities. Im sure if the same rotation was the same, that they would be more consistent. Cason coming off the bench along side Wigs is a bigger deal than most ppl take into consideration.
@ Joe gets plenty of minutes. He’s not a consistent knockdown shooter. Wiggins I’ll give a pass on the minutes (he doesn’t play a lot bc he sucks at defense)
Please don't put I.Joe name with Steph Curry. And I'm a Thunder Fan ⚡
