@@PinkMauveMonkey so the pink colour on turkey or chicken from the smoker comes from the smoke colouring which makes it look pink. It's cooked all the way through but the colour of the meat is tinted from the smoke

I'm trying my best. Thought I was going to be back with mom yesterday. On the way home in the night a crazy man in a car swerved cut me off and was going fast. Honking his horn .The next thing I know he swerved around, was right behind me now. So, I just kept my eyes on the road and got to where more traffic was .than he went away. Lol, I was talking in the car myself . Saying mom is this how you want me to come to heaven. Please, if you want me, do it fast without pain, and don't make me look not nice when I see you again. Have my family friends and doctors gotten to you? I know it's not that they expect from me ,it's I expect from me. I bake certain treats for everyone at Xmas. They work and don't have time for fresh. Plus to be honest, they and I really do love my cookies I make. My favorite is my gingerbread. So I got the ingredients, but nothing happening. You need to have a nice clean kitchen or I do to bake in. Especially when I'm icing them. I make whipped shortbread peanut butter choc covered cherries, biscotti type cookie butter tarts, sugar cookies, pretzels covered in caramel, and dipped in choc. So I do get some requests those that care my gifts to many. Adults understand children not so much. Plus with our postal strike, a lot of gifts are now also stuck in the mail. I'm still under the covers having a chat with you.

Thank you if I got to make again .I would have loved you to try . I used to sell in craft /bake sale. Sold out all the time so would take prepaid orders .But that became really a lot and hard. So just the odd occasion as a gift for birthday or special things I would still try. Now I'm down to just trying for gifts. Funny story my whipped shortbread I bring to our family Xmas. Every year, my sister inlaw says they are so good. I say it's her recipe she gave me years ago, lol. But hers don't turn out the same?. My nieces always grab mine. I feel good and bad.

Marzipan usually almond flavor. Do strange that peanut butter would go with that. But there are so many things that shouldn't go together that really go well. You of course find them. Can hardly wait to see if you find the real Turkish delight in turkey. Will love to see that.

@@PinkMauveMonkey I hope so too. There is a kitchen there that cooks lamb underground in a 30 foot deep chamber they seal shut with clay then have to winch it out when it's ready. Then it goes up another chamber from there basement kitchen to the restaurant upstairs

I make 4 really nice chocolate treats . That gets requested as gifts. When I was well, I used to go in craft /bake sales and sell out. Thought the people had never saw food before. I actually took prepaid orders for one year. Because I kept selling all I made. That was stupid. Then, no matter what you need to get it done.was really hard . Took on too much. But I made it on time. The people were happy. Didn't have to rent tables any more just had people call to order. Miss those days. . But are really slot time and energy, hoping I can this year do a little .

@@asdasdasd59000 well I'm not going to argue pickle and vodka. I also love a pickle back. Shoot of bourbon then a shot of pickle juice. Apparently the pickle juice neutralises the harshness of the shot of bourbon so it doesn't taste as strong
