That price is crazy I bought it directly from the website I got a better memory but that's about it. HMD is playing games because in other markets they have bundle packs for the skyline.

For 30 Dollars it is Ideal as a backup emergency phone.

universal android debloater is a really easy way to uninstall bloats and enjoy the low end phones. it doesnt require root or anything. almost easy as plugging the phone to a pc one single time and remove unwanted apps, thats it.

Remember when this phone was considered as 'massive'? It's challenging to put it inside my teenage jeans pocket. Nowadays even my S23+ considered as modest size although it's larger.

This phone was so ahead of its day, back in that short period at the end of WM early Android days, when HTC made probably the best ones. Wanted one of these so bad, but never could afford it back then. Aside from the stunning HW, and the great skin on WM that made it quite enjoyable, this phone could run everything, remember it had a ton of Android custom ROMs and even Windows phone 7 ROMs, and all of them was usable as a daily option. Looks decent even today, wish HTC could keep up this level over the years.

It failed because nobody wanted a windows that's not windows. Microsoft has good ideas, but then twists those ideas until nothing remains, then it tries to sell those at unaffordable rates. Windows phone was a good idea, but it turned out to be just a ploy to sell us silverlight. Windows Store was a good idea, but it turned out to be just a ploy to sell us the half-baked and highly restricting metro app platform.

Recently got myself a Red 6th gen Nano and along with my 5th gen Classic/Video with flash card mod and Clear faceplate with a Iridescent Backplate and 7th gen Nano, I love it. I rotate daily between these iPods, whatever I feel like taking out with me. I don’t have a Watch band for my Nano 6th gen so I just clip it to my watch strap. I almost went with buying a 6th gen Classic but nah, I’m fine with my 5th gen Classic.

For the Hard disk "misleading", probably the rest of yours isn't assigned to a partition (for example only 150 GB is allocated to the C partition and the rest is purely unallocated). Probably a quick check in the Disk Manager (diskmgmt.msc) will tell you if that's the case. -- Also another misconception is "It says 1 TB but in fact only 931 GB is usable". This is because Windows shows the wrong unit. Windows displays Gigabytes (GB), but it should displays Gibibytes (GiB). The difference with the two is the manner they calculated. 1 KB -> 1,000 bytes (10³ bytes) 1 KiB -> 1,024 bytes (2¹⁰ bytes) So if you consider those way of calculating it, 1 TB = 931 GiB.

Probably would be best off with Linux Mint. The program compatibility is better than Win7, and it's properly supported. And the desktop environment it feels like Win7 to boot.

You could use Supermium as a web browser on XP. It's basically modern Chrome but made to work for older operating systems like XP.
