malenia hitless - great knife
Done on NG+
the great knife is pretty much the best option if you want a strength based dagger, but even then the damage is terrible compared to any other class of weapon. there main redeeming quality of the great knife is that you can put whatever ash-of-war you want on it. such as storm blade which is an extremely underrated AOW. good range, fast cast time, good damage and can be used by any build.
4/10 for great knife but storm blade is a 9/10

malenia hitless - bloodstained dagger

done on NG the bloodstained dagger is one of the best bleed build option in the game, powerstancing one with a redivia in the mian hand is an easy good bleed build. however, if you're up against anything thats immune to bleed they do pretty pathetic damage even compared to other daggers. 7/10

done on NG the misericorde is easily the best weapon for critical attacks, but as a standalone weapon by itself its not bad. has the best range of all the daggers which is nice. 6/10

done on NG the regular dagger is one of the worst daggers. theres not much reason to use it over better alternatives like great knife, misericorde or erdsteel dagger. its also the shortest dagger in the game. 3/10

Done on NG the moonviel is easily the best int/dex weapon IMO. the damage is good, the moveset is good and the weapon skill is really good. not much comes close. unfortunetely it can be a bit boring in comparison to weapons such as the moonlight greatsword or the wind of astel. 9/10

done on NG the ore blade is probably the lesser option for an int katana compared to the moonviel. but if your want an int/str weapons that is fairly fast it's pretty good. rubbish weapon skill though. 5/10

done on NG the serpent bone blade is probably the most underwhelming katana, the damage is worse than multiple alternatives, it has a non unique weapon skill and the poison build up doesn't really make up for it. there isn't much reason to use it over the uchi or other alternatives 3/10

done on NG the nagakiba's extra range is pretty nice but it doesn't really have much to set itself apart from the uchi, and can be kind of a pain to get in the first place. 8/10

done on NG the uchigatana is easily one of if the the best all-round dex weapons. it has good damage, good dex scaling, bleed build-up and it's one of two weapons that can use the unsheathe ash-of-war. 8/10

done on NG kinda dissapointed by this weapon, its pretty much just the nagakiba but with less versatility since the weapon skill is kinda crap. still decent since its a katana but it doesn't have much going for it. 5/10

Done on NG i was honestly suprised by this weapon. i had assumed it was going to be much worse than it was but overall it's pretty solid. the weapon skill is fairly fast and deals good damage, the base damage is fine and it's a scythe so it has a great moveset. however if you want a faith scaling, holy damage scythe the halo scythe is just better. overall pretty decent but nothing special 6/10

done on NG the halo scythe is such an underated weapon. it has good reach and great weapon skill that is kind of ruined by being holy damage. one of the best weapons for destroying deathbird through. one of the best holy weapons IMO 7/10

done on NG overall a decent weapon with a good moveset. its comepletely overshadowed by the grave scythe but if you dont want to farm for that this is a good alternative good weapon with a better alternaetive 6/10

Nice video but i was laughing at the INT video.... As a INT caster all you need to do is to spam ancient rancord and the weapon star beast jaw weapon skill to kill malenia easily. You can also kill her so easily with Kamehameha
Imagine training as hard as malenia has with the blind swordsman, training with every fibre of your being and being undefeated, then some asshole wearing a diaper and a pot on his head walks up to you and kicks your ass while you cant even land a single hit lol

Was having trouble beating Malenia and after nearly twenty loses, I was ready to hang it up. Yet, I thought well what's one more try at this point. I summoned help and boom one lonely golden sign appeared and I tapped it. It was named "In training". I thought, well , this will be interesting, figuring it would be over pretty quick with me dead again, but this guy was never touched throughout the entire battle and we won. I was stunned, but grateful at the same time. I couldn't stop bowing to the archer, as he faded away. If you recognize this and you're the Archer who helped me. You have my thanks again. Great battle and victory. Fellow Tarnished " Ash of Glymn - The Elden Ring Lord ".
