Left to right is Jim Murray (tenor), David Will (singing baritone here), Russ Taff singing lead,), and Armond Morales, bass. The Imperials. These 4 were the Imperials starting in the mid seventies and into the early eighties. (Approximately 1976-1981).
love this song😀
Awesome to stay strong in worshipping the Lord and minister to public.
Dave Will, under stated talent.

One of Dave Will's smooth ballads. That song ministered to me in the 80s and now 40yrs later. Keep them coming! Dave was a tremendous talent and a Godly servant.
First heard of them in late 70's. I was attending Trinity Full Gospel church in Zanesville, Ohio, Pastor Curtis Arnold. No other christian group resonated more to me then The Imperials. I love music, and play to myself as often as I can. I still have their first songbook and I break it out once in a while. My favorites are the Eagle Song, Praise the Lord, and One More Song For You. I followed them closely through 4 transistions as the Imperials, and each time it seems like a new element to their music was added. At 78, I still enjoy listening to them on my old vinyls.
Sure miss Rick Evans at Hope Church - his messages were so solid. I haven't been back to church since he left.
Love the Imperials. I got to see them in concert at,SBU,( Southwest Baptist University). That was during the 83/84 college year.
Paul sung that one, but I like the Russ Taff tune, better.
Praise the Lord
Praise the Lord Hallelujah!!
I missed our founder Rev Button Conde
Wow❤
Watching on 2. 15.24, from your eternal sister in Christ somewhere near Seattle. ⚘️
I love this song, but from the applause in the beginning, I really want to hear what preceded it!
One More Song For You As long as there is time And one breath left in me There will always be One more song for You And as long as there is room For one more voice in praise And a need for a word of love and truth To help my brother through There'll be one more song for You You were there with your songs of laughter Words of hope for my fears What are songs when no one will sing them What are words when no one hears There were times life became a question When I asked, no one knew Till I found the answer in You Chorus: So as long as there is time And one breath left in me There will always Be one more song for You And as long as there is room For one more voice of praise And a need for a word of love and truth To help my brother through There'll be one more song for You Love is in the air around me Hope abounds everywhere Living life in the arms of Jesus Learning how to really care Everyday is filled with purpose All the old is made new And I know, I owe it all to You Chorus: So as long as there is time And one breath left in me There will always Be one more song for You And as long as there is room For one more voice of praise And a need for a word of love and truth To help my brother through There'll be one more song for You
This is Absolutely Beautiful!!
Good grief SLOW DOWN haha!
Sure miss Pastor Rick when he was preaching at Hope Church in Largo, Fl. He always had such a meaningful and positive message and I never felt judged from his messages. I don't know what happened, but one Sunday he was the pastor, then one Sunday he wasn't. His messages kept me coming back to church.
Paul Smith......absolutely one of the best to ever hold the mic!
This song always lifts me up…..I am conservative when it comes to music, but it’s impossible not to be caught up in this Gospel Joy!
Woot😊
The song ends with the tender words, which I suppose are sung to the Lord, “There’ll be one more song to You” and then the singer bows to the audience as they cheer for him, the singer??? The song is, what I suspect, a tender intimate song sung to the Lord telling him that there will be one more song I will sing to You, Lord, even as my last breath. So, why is the response to such words a generating cheer for the singer? I would think we would all bow before our Lord and Savior and break into spontaneous intimate “One More Song” from our hearts to Him. Right? That is what the song is about, right?🤔 My heart aches because we have all so grossly missed the actual power in and of such lyrics. If we read the words to many of our now ‘performed’ praises and hymns (songs) as words recorded in the Bible, we would probably read the following common biblical statement, “And they all bowed down before the Lord in praise.” However, in our day and age, our historic texts will read, “And everyone cheered for the singer’s lovely voice.” The power is NOT in the voice. No. The power is found in the words of the songs of praise. But those lyrics are lost and masked by the praise given to the artist, who is in fact only using their God given gift, hopefully, to lift praises to our Lord, which is the act of using their gift (“workmanship” of Ephesians 2:10) for good works in Christ. And the purpose of our carefully and wonderfully surrendered crafted gifts would and should be used, especially by those redeemed by Christ, to preach the “good news” in every place in this world the Lord’s Spirit guides us to go, that those gifts will lead people to a relationship with the Lord God Almighty. So all who hear can tenderly sing “One More Song For You,” Lord God Almighty.✝️❤️🙏
I enjoyed this video. I saw the Imperials back in the early 80s with my son and daughter in downtown Detroit at the Ford Auditorium. The Imperials were just getting started and it was one of the first Christian concerts I attended. What a blessing it was.
Love this! Memories of the highest quality!
Tengo 4 vinilos de ellos y no me canso de escuchar su música cristiana gran cuarteto imperials saludos desde chile
Beautiful song,, beautiful theme. Is that Paul Smith on lead ?
Yes it is. He is the best...
Wow, Praise the Lord!!! Great song!!!!! I wish there were songs like ya'lls on the radio!!!
We REMEMBER YOU!
Likely
Awesome...🥰
Who’s singing bass? Is Armond Morales?
Yes it's Armond!
David Will...what a voice he had. I used to look forward to his solo/lead on the next Imperials album. I'm thankful we can still hear him in these recordings.
Rest In Peace, Dave! You’re with your Savior singing all the songs you want in His presence. 🎵
We are the Rock of Ages Band, worship team in our church. We sing this on special number.
There are lots of skips in these two concert videos. Makes the music seem to speed up at times. Sure is good to hear these old classics!
I chose this as my birthday song. I am 54 today. My mother went to be with Jesus a little over a month ago. I miss her dearly, but I will have one more song for Jesus. As long as there is time….♥️
hes verrry goood on holdint thosed notes! Wow!
Buenísimos.
My fav Imperials lineup.
beautiful!
O Russ Taff lá atrás só observando.Ele é o solista na gravação original.
Puedes encontrar Russ´ gran testmonio en RUclips. Esto explica su actitud en este vídeo.
beautiful. But it isn't quite as sweet as the old classical heritage singers version. Some songs are never quite as sweet as when a woman sings it
Three FORMER members of The Imperials and Rick Evans is not
What is the name of this group with all these former Imperials. Nice sound
