    Also, when there is a deficit of Calcium ions in the ECF, sodium channels become activated. Sodium makes more action potentials (highly excitable) repetitively without provocation, rather than remaining in the resting state. Often causing ‘muscle tetany’.

    Sir Is inverse stretch reflex monosynaptic or polysynaptic??

    • @PhysiologyLearning
      @PhysiologyLearning Месяц назад

      Good question. It has an inhibitory interneuron between the receptor afferent and motor efferent. So it should be considered under Polysynaptic reflex.

    • @PhysiologyLearning

      The exact division names are not mentioned in standard books. 1 to 3 are primary bronchi division. then the bronchioles. Will look for further references and post you the answer if I could find a standard one.

    9:15 Red reduces the glare produced, as red light has higher wavelength, that reduces the visual acuity. So, to filter red color to an extent, Red goggles are suggested to be worn.

    • @PhysiologyLearning
      @PhysiologyLearning Месяц назад

      Good try. The correct answer is - Light wavelengths at the red end of the spectrum stimulate the rods only to a slight degree, while allowing the cones to function reasonably well. Therefore, a person wearing red glasses can easily adapted to the dark.

    If we want to check tone of biceps then we passively move biceps of the subject and during extention if we feel the resistence ( because fuction of biceps is flexion at supine position) offered by biceps, then we can say tone of biceps is present. Is it the correct concept?
