Yamaha RX-V2500 fan circuit repair
Просмотров 20 тыс.11 лет назад
The fan won't work in diagnosis mode or regular use, continuous mode. I had to test the voltage settings in diagnosis mode, otherwise the voltage readings won't look right. The fan would not turn on in diagnosis mode/fan test. Get yourself a service manual of your particular model wich will make things alot easier.
Yamaha RX-V870 Display repair

Repairing the display.I used a 40 Ohm resistor and an led bulb from an old flashlight to repair the light. The repair must have loosend the solder joints. For people who have to replace the display bulb, the voltage is 14 volts AC.
How to Buy yamaha rx-v459 amplifier replacement Bord online? give me eb site please

Get out more if you think this is creepy.
Why do you find it creepy
I had this same issue withy Rx-v1070 and looks to have fixed it up. Thank you for posting this video :)
Hi again. Please tell me where to solved the resistor /which pin to fan/? to + or - pin to Fan
+Teodora Avramova See this link rdimitrov.twistedsanity.net/blog/show.php?entry=Lowering%20the%20Idle%20Temp%20of%20Yamaha%20RX-V2500 Instructions are there, to understand it better please translate it to your language. www.google.ca/search?q=google+translate&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=AdAqVo_MEcT8oASG3IKoCg
Hi again tnx for the link. Can u tell me which is the transistor /full name pls/
+Teodora Avramova 100 kilo ohm resistor. For a service manual use this link elektrotanya.com/yamaha_dsp-ax2500_rx-v2500_sm.pdf/download.html
The bulb lasted less then a year, so for 2015 i installed a bridge rectifier added an 22 ohm resister and now the voltage is just over 12 volts dc. If i used any higher resistance the bulb does not work. Remember the voltage is just over 14.5 volts ac 200ma, so even if you have a 15 volt bulb it has to be rated for ac. If a hum noise develops your going to have to replace some of the caps near the centre and sub out channels.
Hi. Do you remember, when the fan begin works /how degrees/? I lesten music 4 hours on -8DB Volume and there is no fan. In sleep mode the fan work in all speed. 80 degrees"C i too much for me
+Teodora Avramova This link should answer your questions. rdimitrov.twistedsanity.net/blog/show.php?entry=Lowering%20the%20Idle%20Temp%20of%20Yamaha%20RX-V2500
Thank you so much for showing this!
Ok, great, that worked. I have a RX-V2300 - but I can't find the fan speed adjustment. Is it possible that's not in the 2300's firmware, or is there a method to dial to it?
Use <Program> key to enter sub menu to adjust. Go to Elektrotanya com for a service manual to be sure.
Somee GuyyThen Great - that worked as well - I can now dial between three fan speeds: High, Mid and Low. Is there a way to either set it to 'Auto', based on heat, or to select one of the speeds and have it fixed at that speed regardless of heat?
cpkdude Get The service manual for more information. elektrotanya.com/
Somee GuyyThen ok, thanks. got it. doesn't look like there's anything in there for setting the fan speed, one way or the other - just testing it. But then again, I am not a service technician. The local Yamaha repair shop somehow set it for the fan to be on all the time because they couldn't get the parts from Yamaha to correct an overheating shutdown problem at high temperatures/volumes.
Hi - can you tell me how you got into the service menu seen on the receiver's display? thanks
Turn on the power while pressing these keys. Press the “STANDBY/ON” key while simultaneously pressing a/b/c/d/e & <preset and tuning> keys.
The original bulb specs were 14.5 volt 200 mA,I used an led bulb from a maglight wich is 50 to 100mA 1.5 to 2 volts.Experiment with different resistors and bulbs to get your desired effect.I tried to use a bulb small enough to fit in the orange colored sleeve so it isn't so bright in one place but it still turned out white.I checked the voltage from the receiver and it was a little higher then 14 volts,so tryout what works for you.
I have an RXV870 with blown display bulb and like the idea of using an LED instead. Do you have any idea what voltage and amperage rating the one you used was? And alternately, do you know the supply voltage or what the original bulb's spec was? Thanks!
