@@mobshipa187 Haven’t had any issues with this personally. Could be the tcu tune if hes dsg. Could be clutch slipping dsg or manual. could be traction breaking if bad tires but that prolly aint it. Thats about all i can think of atm maybe someone else can pitch in.

Ive heard that if you only do 1 or the other it can bend the insert and not function properly so i decided to just go both. I dont see the point in only doing 1 tbh. Ball out a lil get both😃

i didn’t jack the rear at all but i did jack both sides upfront or it was on ramps don’t remember. Didnt have any issues with that. didnt have to pry the engine back into place either.

They don’t fix a bad bushing, they just stiffen it

Its just a GLI but i believe all GLIs have the features of a SEL. GLI is the highest trim of the Jettas

@@Hoagi mine is the SEL model with the projector headlights that turn when u turn the steering wheel

Ahh yes i forgot about that some did come with the nicer headlights but i still think all glis are just glis nobody really says SEL part

I normally see around 22 psi but im using a p3 gauge through the obd port so it may not be 100% accurate

@@Hoagi true, do you have obd11? I’m unitronic stage 2 ecu/stage 1 tcu, FBO & I peak @ roughly 20. I was stacked with jb4 for awhile but I’m not stacked anymore. Did you go from stage 2 to stage 3?

i was stage 2 only for a little while on a custom tune before my stock turbo blew dont remember the psi for that one

@@LiveWithoutFear90 Yeah i think it was a bad tuner, learned my lesson there. CTS turbo is pretty amazing if your willing to spend the money. If youre already full bolton youll just need turbo and ecu tune and stage 2 tcu.

@@Hoagi Oh yeah, it's absolutely awesome! This thing just pulls lmfao. Only thing that's kinda weirding me out is if I'm going slow and braking and I'm in manual mode and I downshift into 2nd or 1st, sometimes the rpms will shoot up and do a launch control without me even being on the gas. It's happened about 4 times within a week of getting my car tuned. It did happen once on the stock tune as well. DSG trans fluid change was done before all of this happened. Some people say the TCU just gets confused sometimes.

Ive got the DSG so i did do the TCU tune but didn’t have to do any hardware upgrades to it.

Hey there, I as many others on FB would say it does take a little bit to spool with the unitronic tune. But personally i don’t see it as a con. As long as you’re in the right gear shell get up a go. Sometimes ill come to a stop sign and the car hasnt shifted to first, im still in second and i pull out and it literally takes ages to get up to speed but i see that as my fault for not letting the car into first. You could also get a custom tune, that may help. All in all 100% worth it considering the ease of purchase with the turbo and Uni tune and the reliability has been good. Compared to the xman or biagio turbo with limited tuning help. Thank you very much for the support!

Tbh i dont do a lot of digs so i dont experience a lot of wheel hop ever but i also have bfi motor mounts which reduce some wheel hop. i highly recommend upgraded motor mounts they really tighten everything up and when paired with the dogbone mount it feels very tight and nice lmao. Ofc all that does come with some extra noise/vibration/harshness.

I was wondering how do you switch between the different colors/strobes?

@@tobymacman07 All you have to do is turn the fogs on and off quickly and they’ll go through the different settings. Then if you turn em off and wait a little longer before turning them on again they go back to the first setting

It was a custom stage 2 tune by a smaller company, blew my stock turbo within a month lol but i loved every second of it.

​@@Galacticglizzyse Because of the custom tune. An ovverun tune like this will quite literally eat away at your turbo. Unless you have the money for another one, don't do it.

From a company called Logic Street Performance youll find em on Instagram, it was a stage 2 tune however my turbo blew about a month in while on the tune. So it didnt last long. I miss the crackles lmao.

Could be better lol. But as long as it keeps my dsg in good condition ill deal with any issues.

So FCP Euro says the exact same kit i bought and installed for my 2017 GLI will fit every type of trim 2015-2018 jetta says jetta sport aswell. www.fcpeuro.com/products/volkswagen-br-series-coilover-kit-h-11br#fitment So id be confident to say they will fit. Mostly just regular old mm sockets. I believe i used some triple squares which are European special. Also some regular wrenches. Most importantly a strut spreader socket, also specialty. Spreads the knuckle to get the bottom of the shock in and out easier on the fronts. Besides that pretty common tools id say.

I have a DSG so you can’t do much except tune it hold more pressure. Which i do have done by unitronic.
