Yes. That’s an E major chord in root position. And the chord in the video is an inverted E major chord. Both are correct.

I thought E flat mb
It’s just the first inversion of an E major chord. Same notes as root position but in a different order

U can learn to play every scale and chord on the piano with 2 tricks the first trick is to play this pattern first one doesn’t count whole step whole step half step whole step whole step whole step half step that is for scales (btw between b and c is a half step and between e and f is a half step) the second trick is for chords you just play the first third and fifth note in the scale
The formula for all major scales, no matter what note you start on, is in terms of steps: Whole step, whole step, half step, whole, whole, whole, half! Memorize this and you’ll be able to play any major scale. Feed a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.

I actually found it quite helpful. I was really struggling on step 2. Had no clue I was supposed to press down the black key. I thought those those things were just counting separators.
