I was reluctant to buy nendos since I prefer scales and if I'm going to buy a figure I would rather get a big pretty one That was until I released I'm only interested in male figures and I'm very picky about figures quality so that reduces the catalog for me a lot I have 2 nendos preordered, it's very unlikely for my boys to get scales so nendos will do the work 😔

I’m a fujoshi myself and I really hate how antis/fanpol whine and bitch about how “homophobic” we are. When some yaoi/BL fans are LGBT(even though I’m a straight ally). Meanwhile, most of us don’t go around abusing gay men and treating them like s-x toys. I can understand how gay men feel upset and uncomfortable about yaoi/fujoshi, yet no one should be entitled to bash or falsely accuse someone.

So sad they're displayed in their lying box.........

As a gay man, yaoi is the worst representation of gay people and anyone who consumes it makes me uncomfortable because they're almost always going to ask weird and intrusive questions about me and my partner, especially because we're both trans. Read content made by gay men if you want to actually support gay people, not stuff written by allo cishet women. :/

im talking from personal experience but...a lot and i mean A LOT of people that i know in my life started 'shipping' me with my bf back when we were still friends. And even though yes, we are in relationship now, back then we weren't and it made me pretty uncomfortable. I got sexualized by people when i am still a minor and wowiee. I did not like that experience. Its not like i have a grudge againts every fujoshi but theres a lot of people who have experienced the things i went thru and even worse. And even if its not that much its still kinda fucked up and should be addressed more. maybe antifans just used the word 'addressing' and just bopped it, twist it, and pull it. But idk i dont have much to say about this.

Here’s my own two cents as a gay guy on the subject. If you like Yaoi or BL, that’s fine...it’s whatever...but it still crosses my mind as weird in the same way men liking lesbians does. The way it’s sexualized feels...creepy. I personally do not like most Yaoi or BL for a multitude of reasons...most of it is written by straight women explicitly for other straight women...this to me feels like straight people basically using gentrification of our culture and completely excluding us. But there’s also problems with girls who self identify as fujoshis...I like to call them pseudo-fujoshis (the ones who actually fetishize gay people)...I’ve run into multiple of these girls who have not respected my boundaries, did very creepy things (borderline sexual harassment), and have said...very...very...creepy and fetishist shit towards me and my SO. While obviously the term Fujoshi doesn’t mean you inherently fetishize gay people...most of us have run into these pseudo-fujoshis enough times to where when a woman says she likes Yaoi/BL or identifies with the term fujoshi...our fight or flight instincts instantly kick in. And I’ve seen too many times with these pseudo-fujoshis the shipping of underage characters...most don’t see the harm because “they’re fictional”...but as a gay person, it’s a very harmful stereotype to the gay community. In western culture...the gay community has always been harmfully stereotyped as a group of predators who like children. So to have people openly shipping (non-sexually explicit/disturbingly sexually explicit) underage characters of the same gender...it feels like a mockery because it just perpetuates that harmful stereotype. I could also just go full in on yaoi/BL with its harmful representations of gay characters who are quite literally just m/f pairings but of the same gender...which feels inauthentic...it feels like gay erasure from a genre that’s supposed to be for gay people. I’ve also seen in this comment section people saying that they identify as a fujoshi and that they’ve been bullied for fetishizing gay men when they supposedly weren’t...but...it’s not for them to say that they weren’t fetishizing, that’s for the gay people to determine...most fetishist don’t really realize that they’re fetishizing something unless it’s called out. But despite my rant...I don’t hate all Yaoi or BL...I do think it’s cool that more people are being exposed to the idea of gay relationships (*sigh* even if they’re unauthentic) and there is a whole subsection of Yaoi and BL which is written by gay people for gay people.

The word got mad-ruined in the west. I didn't even notice when it happened. Just out of the blue, it's a slur now. I don't know how the word will regain its original definition, since the west is on a roll with ruining terms they marginally understand. And I'm a westerner at that. I'm not sure if it was a few bad apples or a ton of people guilty of it. :( Hope you haven't had any more problems since the making of this video regarding your interests! Great video! I just discovered nendoroids and want to collect a few figures of my newly found fav anime, Demon Slayer. I live in Canada, and I have searched many many sites where I can buy them at a reasonable price. Most sites are from japan and the shipment is crazy and then you have to consider customs. I recently just found a legit Canadian anime store base in Canada. The Shipment is kind of oof but I think I am willing to pay it bc it won't include the custom pay trouble... The site I am looking at the prices will sustain and will not increase or fluctuate. Though, $90 (after tax)for the one I want times 2 is a bit pricey... Am I insane, if I get it? xD
