Moreover, when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Isn’t this strange, that we should do something that Jesus has forbidden and at the same time read out ceremonially his words forbidding it

Brady, no one cares about you going on a trip that's not important when there's a war going on and poor yay. You need to speak the truth; you can eat meat on Fridays in lent Stop lying to your congregation and speak the truth. Lent is about getting closer to God, and wearing special colors at lent doesn't matter anymore. Jesus said those things don't matter anymore. I'm tired of all the fake priests that don't want to speak. The truth "You can't say you love Jesus" and go around lying when you know the truth but don't want to speak it.
