Hi Simon I hope you are doing well mate. the reason there is a wedding on Wednesday is according to Buddhist culture it's an auspicious day and good to have weddings that's why they take weddings on that day so many Buddhist Sinhala weddings do take place on that day mate. Enjoy your trips down the south so many nice beaches and hotels to visit especially in Gale, Hambanthota & Benthota the light house hotel in Gale is ver nice and in unawatuna is also good and cinnamon Benthota is also good. But you will also find other beautiful places on your way mate. Take care and stay safe always 😊

@1.25 wtf is he doing, coconut tree climbers use a ring made with ropes around the feets when claim a coconut treee . That ring is to preven the slipping. 99.99% coconut tree climbers use that ring in Sri Lanka.
