In 2021 we sold our houses, cars, and shrunk our lives to fit in a custom Sprinter van we built. In May we hit the road and started traveling the entire US competing in enduro mountain bike races and playing bikes on our favorite trails. States we hit included Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah, and California. But, when we were in Bellingham Washington Dan saw so many sailboats, and an old passion was ignited. After much research and effort, we bought a 41 foot Catalina Morgan Classic sailboat. Keep up as we live on a boat for the first time, experience Florida with it, re-fit the boat to our needs, and of course, still, bring the action!

After pulling out the existing (and old) toilet and plumbing (ew) in our forward head, Dan has started building the compostable toilet that will be replacing it. In part one of our sh*ttiest project yet, he designs and assembles the box that will eventually contain the system that will separate the solids from the liquids while keeping any unfortunate smells out of the boat.

He is right. The Promaster is great for steering capabilities. I love mine. Never really thought about that if there is no hitch then it towed nothing & the transmission is in good shape. Guess mine is too. 👍 Love the Cedar, love the Cabinet stain color, really beautiful!

Did you guys give up on sailing or RUclips or both?
We are sailing through the Bahamas right now! We have hit an indefinite pause on RUclips. There are so many channels out and it requires so much work it’s really hard to justify.

The lack of fit and finish is inconsistent with the higher end components you used. Obviously built to sell, not to keep.

man, why the hell did you put the hinge on the lagoon table on top instead of between the two pieces of wood.... Lmao.. such a nice build then that. lol.
To make it long enough to serve two people side by side. Did this on the Sprinter build as well, been great.
@@svNeverMonday you're not understanding what I mean, hinge goes between the two pieces, not on top. Much cleaner that way. Otherwise, beauty build :)
@@bikeninja956 Except those exposed wires running along the cab floor, the weird arrangement above the sliding door, the A/C plywood cabinets with exposed edges, etc. Was obviously built to sell, not to keep.
