Does it look like the mag release is reversible on these 5.7 models? That's been a pretty big hangup for me with the 9mm models.

That yellow tag on the trigger gaurd says to never dry fire.

So having a 3" 410 bore, is it safe to shoot a 2 1/2" 410 shell? I have never been clear on that.
Yes. It’s safe to use a shorter shell. If you continually use a shorter shell, you may get some carbon buildup at have trouble if you try to load a 3in. Just have to clean it up. I appreciate you watching and commenting. 👍👍

I just got a rifle like this fro my now dead stepdad. The gun works well but will jam every now and then. Could this be the old ammo I got along with the rifle or could it be something else?
@@dennispennington9773 Well they are very hard to breakdown for a through cleaning. I would not attempt that unless you are very versed on it. A gunsmith could do that for you. I would clean as good as you could without breaking down. Clean the bore because 22LR builds up major carbon. Also get new ammo. I hope this helps. I sure appreciate you watching and commenting. 👍👍

Just got mine!! Haven't tried it out yet!! I did swap out the carry handle for the pic rail!! And you do have to order from Kel Tec website!! Already put a red dot and back up iton sights!! Cant wait for range day!!

It makes for a beautiful hunting pistol. But guys it's nothing crazy in the recoil department. Less recoil than a 44 magnum and probably less than 1/3rd of a 500 S&W. It's a realistic gun for hunting.

Nowadays when you look at firearms it is more of a toolbox and seriously depends on what you’re doing. Now… Most anything traveling near the speed of sound he’s going to do damage regardless of caliber. Most of us have been shot with a red Ryder at one time or Or another and wisely choose not to get shot with anything else
