Hi, my name is Nathan. My wife Racey and I own and run Reber Rock Farm along with our fantastic team of folks who make this whole thing work. Sometimes we write about our farm on our blog or weekly newsletter, and sometimes we share through videos on this channel. Thanks for stopping by to check us out.
Reber Rock Farm is family farm on the southern edge of the Reber Valley in Essex, NY. We raise Pasture Raised Organic Chicken, Pasture Raised Pork Fed Organic Grain, 100% Grass Fed Beef and Maple Syrup. We offer curbside pickup on the farm and can deliver to your door both locally throughout the Adirondacks, or regionally including delivery to NY, VT, NH, ME, MA, CT, NJ, RI, DE and Eastern PA.

Adjusting water level in Brower drinker
This video is for Farm staff purposes. However, I’ve posted it publicly in case it’s helpful for anyone else.
The Brower drink has a float valve mechanism between the trough and the water reservoir. This float valve has a set screw adjustment that allows you to adjust the water level in the trough. Adjust the water level involves adjusting the lower screw turning clockwise to lower the level. Tightening the brass sets screw to hold everything in place.

F150 Lightning Saves the Day

The power went out this morning in our April snow storm, just a day after the arrival of our first batch of baby chicks. Electric heat lamps keep our chicks warm and cozy. The tractor PTO generator was difficult to get to so I acted fast and drove our all electric F150 Lightning right down to the barn. Come see how easy it was to get power back to the brooder and making sure the chicks are warm...
