Yes, from what I understand, the gyroscope allows the Dolphin pool cleaner to scrub / vacuum better and more efficiently.

If our level is above the ledge between the pool and spa, you do feel some cool water from the pool spilling into the spa. We can keep the levels below that height and that does not happen.

I doesn't have a basket but it does have an "area" that hold debris.

Check out my video on cleaning this model and you can better see the "area" i am referring to. It hold a good bit of debris without issue.

Definitely, I put it in the SPA for about 20 minutes prior to doing the pool each time. Our spa has all straight lines / angles so it works perfectly. Thanks for the question!!!

I have not had a chance to research the different shock upgrades. I definitely think that shock upgrades are a great idea but didn't feel knowledgeable enough to recommend. I have that on my list of items to research for mine and will probably do a video then. Thanks for the comment!

Never had any signal issues. Display never looses communication with any wheels.

Yes, I have a buddy who put the same set-up on his 1000-5

Cannot remember what I said there. With the motor running and the seat on you can barely tell it is on. Once rolling you can no longer hear it at all.

A few small scratches. I just make sure I get the windshield very wet, rinse off anything that will rinse off, and THEN wash gently with a microfiber and car wash solution. Wiping off clumps of mud/sand/clay without rinsing first is what I believes to major scratching.

I did not mention that in the video as I was a little unsure of how secure it would be. It has been there for two years now without issue but caution should be taken as it is a lot of weight over your head and if you crash or hit a really hard bump it could come loose. It is a Rockford Fosgate... amzn.to/3YrRj4B I originally just connected the back (facing the rear of the buggy) to the cross member of the roll cage with these...amzn.to/454dQGB They held it pretty well the would spin and allow the speaker to hang down on a rough road. Then I added a curtain rod holder to the front of the speaker box. I cut and painted the the curtain rod and attached it to the front cross member with one of these on each side of the rod... amzn.to/3q1Yy6u and a bolt going through both brackets and the curtain rod as seen in the video. I am no pro so take caution to ensure the installation is secure!!!

The soundbar also fits great in the 1000. The rear lightbar is universal. The front light bar is for the 700 but they make one for the 1000 as well.
