What ever their music style they are playing, acoustic to hard rock, the lyrics (there are usually caption to their songs) are very up lifting and empowering. The melody lines are strong enough to manage without understanding Japanese, although they do have a few songs totally in English. Nice reaction-Thanks.

I have been a Band Maid fan for awhile now, I am a 59 year old male who is more of a rock fan than metal, Band Maid has a good sound... There are many more by Band Maid that I think you would enjoy if you liked this one. I am not sure why you only have 116 likes as of mine, people who keep up with Band Maid through youtube usually show up with more likes, but they will appreciate your reactions to Band Maid in the future I am sure.

Thanks for the reaction Metalhead! No, Band-Maid is not metal, however, as I like to say, they're "metal-capable" incorporating elements of metal into songs here and there. They incorporate hard rock, classic rock, punk, funk, jazz... I could go on and on naming genres. As we Madiacs are fond of saying, the genre is Band-Maid. "Warning" was a dig at their previous record label to stop holding them back and allow them to do what they want to do or they'll jump ship. The label didn't listen so they upped and left to a new label "Pony Canyon" where they've been given free licence. The maids want to do what they want to do and not what some corporate busybody thinks they should do. Here's a thought, you could click the CC button next time then you might know what's being sung, they have been adding English translations to most of their uploads as of late

Welcome to Band-Maid! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. While they don't class themselves as a metal band, they don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog mayhem to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally.
