My school did this arrangement in 1994, although the Promenade section in this version has more of a rubato feel than in the one we did. 27 years later, I can still play this from memory. Hell, give me a day or two to jog my memory and I can even make the same movements on the field.

This exact same piece that is on a couple of ALBUMS in the early 80s that was made for Marching Band arraignments. i have those albums to date. one of my favorite renditions of "Pictures". classic.

We played this exact composition in 1992 at my high school... note for note every section. Brought chills. Thanks for sharing! We also played Firebird and New World that season.

Who did the actual audio for this? I remember being absolutely blown away by it as a high school student. It was a college band, but can't remember who...pre-1983.

I know exactly what I'm talking about. Between Bush Jr., Rick Perry, and a few TX transplants out here in the California central valley and Bay Area that I have had to work with, my experience tells me that if I were to make a generalization about Texans, it is that they tend to be quite bigoted. In 2010 There was a pep band with a bunch of schools that came too! I played in it too with my band along with other bands in Husky Band Day! We didn't play this so this is something else, but it brings back such good memories!!

@laglagga Dude... these guys learn a new show for each home game, meaning some shows need to go from sight-reading to performance in less than a week. The sound is always incredible. The drill, not great but not bad either. Again... ONE WEEK. No, really, where do you go?
