This was as good if not more important than her coming out, when she describes the universality of loving and caring deeply for another person in a way Erica can understand, and then at 5:10 Bianca says the words that probably saved lives, ❤️

no I am from the US but I sure will be checking them out. I find it funny that as a straight woman I love to see same sex couples on tv, whether daytime or primetime. I.E. Bianca and mostley all her girlfriends and Reid and Luke

It was "After" she came out. Hey did you ever watch Sophie & Sian on the UK Soap Opera Coronation St., or Debbie & Jasmine on another UK Show called Emmerdale. That was fantastic too.

She was a friend of Bianca who was also Gay but she was a Street Girl, and Erica didn't like her because she felt that she was a Bad Influence on Bianca.

I love how even though you dont see a bunch of passion and or affection between them, you can still feel their feelings and passion. It feels so real. I can see how much they cared about and for each other.

Who does ecstasy and goes to the mall? I'm not sure ecstasy really makes someone act that way, I wouldn't know, but I think the actress did a good job of being totally out of it.

Laura was such a freak. I seriously questioned Bianca's judgment in having a crush on Laura. Remember when Leo married her because he thought she was dying and it was his fault or something? That punch was hilarious though.

I totally remember this storyline at the time. Those girls at school were so mean, but Bianca still got her digs in. I was in high school too and I didn't have bullies, but I liked having someone (Bianca) to go through high school with as a lesbian. Now that I'm much older, looking back on this, this storyline is a little ridiculous -- why didn't Bianca close the laptop? Why would Erica read that aloud while everyone was standing there?

BTW, thank you for posting this. I wasn't watching yet when this happened so it's the first time I've seen it. I was a nerd and read all the transcripts of Bianca's storyline way back when (there was a site that posted daily transcripts) but I never got to see the Sarah/Bianca stuff at the time. I really think Bianca and Sarah belong together.

I don't understand why Sarah and Bianca didn't get together. I mean, if Sarah came out and left Ian, what was stopping her from being with Bianca then? I know Sarah need to recover and Bianca was still in high school, but I just feel like Sarah needed to come back. Even if Sarah came back now before AMC goes off the air for good, it seems like their love was truest of all.

@SpashleyLove11 When I was 17 and Bianca was 17 and I watched AMC everyday during the summer, I was in love with her! OK, I wasn't in love with her, but I had a big TV crush. So beautiful, compassionate and caring. I think the show ruined Bianca when they switched writers, but during this time, the writing for the Bianca character was great.
