I had a Magnaflow catback system on my ‘96 Civic and it didn’t sound like a bunch of angry bees in a can. Had a really nice tone that turned heads everywhere I went. I have the same set up on my wife’s Matrix. lol an exhaust delete makes a civic sound like trash!! Other than Magnaflow I like Borla…epic sound!

Best was the skunk with dc headers but nothing beats a vibrant muffler

I've got a Del Sol with a 4-2-1 header, DNA test pipe, and 2.25" stainless straight pipe exhaust. You want people to hate you, roll their windows up as you pass, and flip you off? This is the setup. If you want something that sounds good, this is NOT the setup lmao. i need to throw a good muffler on it

I have a full yonaka catback on my d16, stock cat, and love it it’s just the mufflers is hilariously large especially on my del sol. I have a k tuned downturn muffler coming that looks a lot more subtle but hoping no rasp will present itself. I love the deep tone of the yonaka and after a year or two once it’s broken in it sounds 10x better too.

I have the old school thermal catback and a DC 4-1 header with a cat. It's not obnoxiously loud, and has very little rasp.

I have a Buddy Club Spec 2 on my hatchback, I've always found it to be a great sounding one - but very loud lol. Prepare yourself for most people to hate you. I've got some 4-2-1 header from a website, stainless steel, hooked up to a catalytic converter, then the catback. I switched from a oem looking full size honda cat to a universal one, and even the differences in the cat changed the properties of the sound, like the previous setup definitely had a little more toned rasp in the high end (nothing obnoxious or typical honda fartcan), but was more toned out with a universal "fatter" cat. I have a few sound clips I should probably upload to youtube.

I’m running Skunk2 headers, a generic soda bottle resonator in place of the cat, and the Skunk2 60mm J-spec catback on mine. I love it but I’m gonna be changing some things up still. I’ll be switching to 1320 UEL headers before anything else.

Yeah did this too, drove over 30 miles with no oil cap wondering why shit smelled like oil the whole drive. Had maybe a quart and a half left in it when I got to work. Got oil for it and stuffed a rag in the hole and sent it hm 😂
