Dang man.....sketchy...did the carb stop idling high ? Ive had wheels come off too lol sucks ...no brakes if the drum comes off too because the cotter pin came out mysteriously...don't you miss the old days when you needed a drum or any other part for that matter and you just call up one of your buddies and have them bring you a drum you a drum because everybody had a stash of Parts back in the old days right, anything you needed man, call Mark he's got a drum call Joe he's got a master cylinder I saw it in his garage! Jimmy's got a stack of old five lug wheels on his side yard....lol
Carb top was removed and some filing was done. Once reassembled idling has been fine. Thanks!

Years ago I drove my old 1967 Dodge A100 down that trail, a couple times. Vans are great, you can pull over anywhere and sleep in them.

Lots of paint. No rust worries! Hope the clutch is performing.
Prior to the satin ivory , I sanded the entire car down to the bare metal. Four layers of “rust stop” primer, three layers of paint. Some rust starting to spot through, Patina!!! Lol

@@oldbugadventures expensive up here in Northern California too....registration is ridiculous as well... remember it used to cost like 25 bucks for registration.... and now if you didn't non-op it in time you got to pay all the back registration too.. what a joke....

Due to my abusive driving, the pressure plate, throw out bearing and shaft all went out. I got vids uploaded and coming up all about that. Check the channel. To answer your question, it’s in the drive way.

Wow, what a shame, did a new freeway get built close to there somewhere or something? Any idea what was the demise of the old hotel? Looks like it was a cool place at one time, how come you didn't grab that wide 5 wheel? Man I remember when everyone used to have those laying around in your backyard and garage, and now people want 50 bucks forum and a hundred bucks and a hundred fifty bucks each, was that one no good? Baker, Ca started as a rail road junction for the Borax mining. Later, US Route 91 from So. California to Las Vegas, Nv. and beyond. It is now The Gateway To Death Valley, as Ca. Route 127 junctions here. However, once the I-15 was built, and vehicles gained higher highway cruising speeds, everything mom and pop died off. Only corporate controlled fast food and gas stations survive. I’m surprised Alien jerky and the Mad Greek have survived so kong
There’s laws against desert “picking”, AKA, “looting”, etc. Shame, so much useful things out in the deserts, and I’m just trying to be environmentally friendly and recycle, re-use, and collect. Something about cheating future generations from experiencing the same discoveries. Make sense.

Take your time, lotts of deep breaths.... be sure all of those clips are seated properly, the way you do that is just make sure they spin around inside their little Groove easily and that they can't be popped out of the groove easily, thanks for posting!
