I come from a family of musicians, so as a kid, I knew a bit about the Bee Gees, but just recently really saw them & am absolutely in love with this group. Some great news is that it looks like there is going to be a biopic film made of the Bee Gees, directed by Ridley Scott with Barry Gibb, the lead singer in Too Much Heaven, as one of the producers!

The Bees Gees are fantastic & IMHO, right up there with Earth, Wind & Fire, Queen & MJ. And, speaking of MJ. he loved the Bee Gees- he & Barry Gibb were friends.

I'm happy your excited and invested in politics, not enough young people are. Also Trump is absolutely a megalomaniac and he was not going to allow anyone in that room that didn't have to be there and wasn't loyal to him, in other words there was no way that he wasn't going to get massive applause in the standing ovation and if at any point it did look like the crowd was not pleased with him I guarantee you the cameras would not have been showing that section of the crowd so that really doesn't mean a whole lot. It's also a considerable sign of maturity and respect that Biden and Kamala were at the inauguration considering that Trump refused to go to biden's 4 years ago. But just stop and consider some things.... A president has no power whatsoever to affect inflation the way he's talking about, additionally in his will meaning potentially but very very sloppy methodology for draining the swamp has led to him appointing and hiring people who not only are new to politics in some cases but have actually no experience in the department of their assigned to which causes huge issues because they have absolutely no idea how to do anything that needs to be done for those offices. He's in pointe Dr Ben Carson was put in charge of housing and Urban development, yes he's a neurosurgeon and very intelligent, but he never worked in anything to do with housing or socio-economic structure with an urban development the only experience he had with HUD was the fact that he lives in a project for a few years as a child and as a result he got nothing done. Same thing with his department of education Betsy DeVos, she never attended public school once in her life she didn't even entirely understand how some aspects of public school worked as a result nothing was done. so to say that he is going to have them Marshall and use all of their power to bring down prices makes very very little sense especially because we're a capitalistic country the prices are ultimately going to be set by private businesses he knows that and so do all of the leaders of these massive corporations. This is a promise that means absolutely nothing. Least of all is the fact that he also walked back his promise to bring down prices for things within 2 weeks of winning the election. When are the pipelines is talking about that was shut down by Biden, ended up having a major leak, partially due to shoddy workmanship and how fast it was built because of the demand and the insistence that we still should be relying on just our own fossil fuels. And now they want to try to open that up again we're already seeing extreme damage due to pollution and drilling already and now he wants to open up wildlife and protected areas to drill more.... Mind you the most projections feel that will likely be out of fossil fuels as we know it by 2060 at the latest. part of the reason America is not a manufacturing the giant through the used to be aside from the fact that outsourcing just makes economic sense for those giant corporations is because of the fact that those manufacturing plants create a ton of pollution and toxic spill off, just look up DuPont, countries like China Bangladesh and Vietnam do not have anywhere near the same number of regulations and protocols that America has for what you are and are not allowed to dump in places. And I can almost guarantee you that if they were to attempt to start manufacturing like that in the US again you would start to see the exact same rash of diseases and cancer epidemics in areas around those manufacturing hubs. Let alone the fact that those companies are not going to want to go from paying below minimum wage undocumented workers to now having to pay American workers at a livable wage with benefits. Additionally for my job I spend a lot of time talking to union workers none of whom were aware of the fact that he is planning on putting forward the laws in protocols regarding unions making it much harder for unions to actually have contracted jobs with any degree of security it's also going to be much easier for companies to destroy any attempts for forming or continuing to have unions work. Again I work as a political research analyst and I talked to a lot of conservatives thousands actually at this point, and we had to stop asking people basic questions about tariffs because of how few of them had any idea of the way they worked and on top of that many of them didn't want to know how they worked they felt that anything negative about tariffs was merely liberal propaganda or being blown. I don't know if you entirely understand the way they work, but in simplest terms again we are a capitalist country... Those tariffs being imposed on other countries are going to just make it so that American companies bringing those goods are going to raise the prices of the items...major corporations are not going to eat the cost of price increases because of tariffs they are going to pass that cost on to the consumer we are already seeing this effect happen in record numbers Walmart was one of the biggest ones and a very conservative company at that and they already came out and stated to their customers that their prices would likely be going up in 2025 due to tariffs. Stop and think about how intense it has to be for a store like Walmart to preemptively feel the need to warn their customers of price increases 6 months ahead of time. Manufacturing in your domestic country but as I see the above we can't really do that here so all this is going to do is substantially increase the prices of things in America that are shipped in. Not to mention we've already seen multiple instances of companies that he claimed to be coming to America and bringing more jobs fail the first term and no already backing out again. We talked about being thankful for American workers, Biden had a policy that would have adjusted the threshold for what employees can earn and still be eligible to qualify for being paid time and a half in overtime, a trump appointed judge struck that down just a few weeks ago which took away the ability to earn overtime from over 4 million workers in Texas and they have plans to expand that Nationwide. He's talking about reinstating free speech, at the same time he is telling them that they cannot include any words like diversity or trans or equity within any type of government document. I don't understand how anyone could look at that, a blatant from a censorship from someone who's cleaning to be about free speech. Never mind the fact that he's confused so much of his Base by yelling about social media platforms for censoring people will completely ignoring the fact that social media platforms are private entities who have terms of service, free speech is only applicable if the government is trying to censor you or keep you quiet Twitter is allowed to censor or stop people from posting whatever they want on their platform you agree to that in the terms of service the same way you do with RUclips. Believe whatever you want, but at least look into some of this stuff, Trump has a nasty habit of just making them plastic promises and hyperbolic statements and ignoring all of the damage he's in his wake. and unfortunately he's also about to get the credit for any improvements to the economy even though as a rule most presidents deal with whatever economy is left over from the prior term, meaning of Biden inherited the massive economy during Corona and then worked to fix it for 4 years and it is just starting to reset itself, he solved everything right away and it's entirely a credit to him unless of course it goes badly in which case he will immediately blame Biden. If nothing else he lied to you about project 2025 he claimed he had no idea what it was and yet almost all of the major drafters are people that he personally selected to be working in his administration and many of his biggest supporters and pundits came out immediately at the election laughing and saying see this is what we wanted to do the whole time. Do your research so people like me are slightly less depressed and anxious to the point of pyschosis. Because from where a lot of data analysts sit right now it is becoming abundantly clear that the average American is too stupid to be trusted with something like democracy.
