This is the car that started my life long love of British Sports cars. I never own one, but as a teen then Triumph dealership was a half mile from where I lived. Everytime I went by there I checked out the TR3s wishing I could buy one. As soon as I returned from the Vietnam War I bought a brand new Spitfire 1970 I've had a couple of them over the years. Always 1970

I had exactly the same car, same colour, same year ( mine was Jan 1971) and obviously mine was RHD. It looked and sounded just the same. This car looked and sounded perfect. I have been trying to locate my Saab for years, but to no avail. Thank you for rekindling the memories.

"Winter" . These are pretty good in real winter conditions

I've loved this car ever since I first saw one in Germany years ago. But I used to own an Alfa Romeo and more recently a Miata, and I'm worried that this car might not be peppy enough. I know it's not a sports car but I would certainly like it to move a little bit!! Anybody have any thoughts on that? And of course I'm wary about bringing one into the United States because I could never fix it, or get the parts!
