It’s been almost exactly 24 years since I officially raced in this pool back when I swam for KU (the last year of the men’s team). I am almost exactly 4 seconds slower and 40lbs heavier. It wasn’t pretty but it was fun! I would like to give a big shoutout to baby aspirin for keeping me alive.
é isso ai meus jovens ,vpces estao no caminho ceto. muitas vitorias e glorias para voces . ganhem muito dinheiro pois o dinheiro ajuda . Deus abencoes voces, parebens
Can you please tell me the sellers name since when i search the one you showed there nothing shows up. Or maybe can u tell me a trusted seller on ebay please?
@@lensblurobs3814 It’s a little tricky. You need to type mmg0g0 (those are both zeros) in the search bar (don’t hit enter yet). After typing it, eBay will give you an option of “in eBay stores”. Select “in eBay stores” and you can find the seller. It looks like he currently has the NV in a small and medium and he has the CR in a large.
Hey man how do you buy it from japan? ive been eager to get one for ages but i cant find any in the major online stores
@@mistake8526 I found it on eBay. If you go to the 47 second mark in the video I posted the eBay vendor I used. If a vendor is doing large volume of Japanese good on eBay and they have a high rating, I figured it was probably going to be legitimate.
noice
How easy was the 6CR to put on? Thanks
@@MaxSwims My son said that both the CR and NV were difficult to put on the first time, but the CR was much easier.
@@everettdehaven8645 Cool, thanks! I have an NV so it sounds like the CR will be fine
I am trying to get Mizuno NV. My height is 6'0 and weight is 179, i am 16 years old. I wear 34b practice suit. Should I get size 26 or 28 for the tech suit?
That’s a good question. We have the Japanese version. For adults, they come in sizes 2XS, XS, S, M, L, XL. I don’t know how the Japanese version compares to the American version, but my son is 6’0” and 180lb, wears a 32” practice suit, and the large is really tight. His teammates had to help him put it on the first time. I cannot give a recommendation just because I don’t know if the Japanese XL is equivalent to the American 32 or not. My general rule of thumb for tech suits is: “When in doubt. Go with the larger size”. This has only burned me one time.
If you were to buy the Japanese version, I think it would be a struggle for you to fit into the Large. I think you could do it, but I would wear it at least once before your big meet. My son’s suit has started to fit better the more he has stretched it out.
Some more advantages/disadvantages, be sure to list anything that I may have left out: 1. When you swim unattached, you cannot do relays and everyone loves relays. 2. I’ve learned at least one thing from every coach that I have swam for, so swimming for a team can take you out of your comfort zone and will probably teach you something. 3. You typically do not have to deal with a crowded lane when you swim unattached. Crowded lanes create bad habits, especially on butterfly, so there is a big advantage to getting your own lane. 4. You don’t have to fight for pool/lane time when you swim for a team. It is a constant struggle to find a pool for consistent lap swimming as an unattached swimmer. We have to swim in the evening after dinner which is not ideal.
Thanks ❤❤❤❤
No problem
You are most welcome, my man.
No idea why this showed up in my recommended videos but…. way to get after it guys
Thanks! LET’S GO! 💪
Probably the top 3 swims of the meet (in order): 1. Shawnee Mission South Grady O’Connor’s 200 SCY Freestyle 1:38.58 2. Shawnee Mission South Grady O’Connor’s 100 SCY Freestyle 44.99 3. Wichita Northwest Brock Wallace’s 200 SCY IM 1:51.51
Coincidentally I have the 2 suits, CR, NV and I made the state meet as a freshman in the 50 and 100 🤷🏼♂️. in all seriousness tho the CR is nice and springy but has way more movement while the NV in my opinion could take a meet or 2 to break in so it’s not to tight, but has the ridiculous amount of compression with unlimited movement after it is broken in and will last A LONG LONG time. The 5 series is my favorite personally. I have gone 22.43 and 49.52 in the NV before states tho do it’s definitely reliable.
This is great! It’s hard to judge any tech suit off of one meet and so the more people who provide input the better we all are. Thank you for saying something.
@@everettdehaven8645totally agree! Glad I could relate to your son almost dead on lol. Hope I helped a tiny bit.
@@Alexkoutris We were actually talking about your comment on the way to practice tonight. I told my son that we should try to break in the the NV at some small USA meets this summer to see if it makes a difference.
@@everettdehaven8645that’s awesome! I know since we are both freshman we are still going to keep growing and all, so it’s better to break it in so it stays fitting right at least in my opinion. I wear a size small and it does get a little bigger as you wear so it more comfy while maintaining most compression.
I play a bit of water polo, but I don’t really fancy swimming on its own. Therefore, I’m a goalie.

Never seen a dive like that before
Every kid is different and everyone has to figure out what works best for them.
Thanks for the video and your time. It would be nice when an installation of dryer duct is installed especially in the attic that someone would invent some type of clean out cover that would give access to easier cleaning
For anyone wondering, the beam of light at the finish was not photoshopped.
Hey I was the guy who got 3rd. Thanks for the vid!
Way to swim! Glad you found the video.
For clarity, I put his times and the suit he used to get those times in the description. A few thoughts: 1. I do think he needed an XL in the NV instead of a Large. The Large in the CR seems to fit well though. 2. He is young and this is his first real taper. It is certainly possible that he just didn’t hit his taper well. Every kid is different and some require a shorter/longer taper than others. 3. I don’t want to blame the suit because it could be a variety of factors, but so far he has swam better in the CR instead of the NV.

Swam against you back in the day with Topeka High, I believe
That’s awesome! Did you happen to swim on Topeka High’s 200 free relay at 2000 State Championships? If so, I have that video up too! It’s easy to find if you look at my Playlist.
Actually I have a better video of you! Check out that same playlist but the video “First Home Swim Meet - 50 Free” or something like that. You are racing right next to me. Oh that is so cool! You will have hit me up on Facebook or LinkedIn!

very impressive! great camera angle
Thanks!
I am looking to buy one and ship it from Japan. Where did you order it off of?
eBay. You can find them on Buyee too. Just look for someone with a high rating and has a decent amount of volume. Like any country, there are a lot of Japanese specific resellers who specialize in items that you can only find in Japan. So the person I bought it from was specialized in Japanese products and not in swimming gear. I will say that as of a week ago the CR was becoming difficult to find in a Large or Medium.
I cannot believe this! Your comment made me check eBay one last time before State to find the NV and the eBay dealer that I have been dealing with got the NV and CR in a Medium and Large.
@@everettdehaven8645 Fantastic. I think I will be getting my hands on a CR shortly. I’m a small and it seems they’re are a few in stock

I still love seeing the timers jump up out of their seats at the end.

What the hell was that music
The walkout song at the beginning or the song at the end? At the end was their school fight song.
Thank you for actually showing tge process. Idk why so many professionals that do this for a living don't just actually show the process. Its like its some trade secret we can't know about 🤣
No problem
Also I apologize for saying “So” so much. Even if my repair is incorrect at least I was able to learn something about my public speaking.
