Man this is so much better than your most recent vid. I feel like you could do alot better drip feeding music that you work harder on to produce. The description of this video makes it clear you spent a TON of time on this to make it perfect. Did you do that with your newest song? Did you put as much thought and effort into putting real emotion into your music? Quality is always better than quantity, drip feeding music that you work really hard on as opposed to rushing work and releasing it ASAP is how you make your work stand out. Huge artists like Kanye West, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, (Billie Eilish if u fw billie) all take their time to release their music. Maybe you're already doing this idk I haven't really looked that much at your work but if you're not you should defo consider it.

I think the reason why is because not only are you a small artist, but your video doesn't really have a story. Most music videos, like the original one by Gotye has a story. It could also be because you overuse effects that don't look good. I'm sure using the same amount of effects but multiple at the same time could leave you with a better video. I know retention is a big deal for pushing your content in the algorithm, but there are more way to retain a viewer's attention than spamming random effects that don't have any context/reason to be there.
