Hi there pastor's wife, I like the perspective you shared about the pastor's wife not choosing whom they should associate with, sometimes I think this's almost impossible. E.g., as a church member I try to relate to everyone but it's sometimes difficult because you wish you could have a conversation with someone who has a lot of things in common with you, maybe this is why pastor's wives gravitate towards other women who've similar traits to them. They too are human and maybe they'd like to associate themselves with people they can trust. I also think this could build resentment from other church members cause I've also witnessed our pastor's wife choosing whom she wishes to send around to perform certain services - what if I too am skilled in that area? Very recently I's sitting with another church member and she came to greet us but it seemed she was specifically coming to our table for her - like I's a spare 🛞 A while ago, she made the few women she ❤the most stand up in church as a reference to the pastor's sermon on Jesus's inner circle & the disciple He ❤the most. I think it would be wise to be a prayerful woman so as to be led as to how to deal with people or maybe to get insight on what they'd want from you as a pastor''s wife - maybe certain female members as apart from your differences would like to get to know you personally as a pastor's wife or females who're both young & old, would like to be poured into & mentored!😄E.g., A Christian can be 40 years old but be still new or a baby in the Lord, what if she too needs singles mentorships like the youth or younger women in church?
