my wife and i drove to manchester to eat at bob’s diner yesterday…
I lov vermont n it's folks
Looking forward to work and live in Vermont as a USRN. Can't wait to be a Vermonter. ❤❤❤
My fathers Stepfather Charles P Gemme was the President/Superintendent and designer at the Worcester Lunch car company that built diners
The Birdseye Diner helped cure many hangovers for me. So so good!
The Bill Gates Virus scam.
If your in southern Vermont you must check out the Blue Benn Dinner in Bennington. Great food, great menu, great prices and great people
Trump came to our diner and we put pubs in his burger. I think he had a stroke when he found it in his mouth. Best part was no one got in trouble.
Weird how they market it as the “guilty pleasure”. Worse things you can have than a burger.
💰
Diners! What we used to call malt shops in Brooklyn. Where you could get breakfast or a burger with fries, and those thick, tasty vanilla malts. Sooooo good back in the day.
Every Person Must Know That .... #1 He Is Lost And Is A Sinner. Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Ecclesiastes 7:20 (KJV) For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. #2 He Is Under The Wrath Of God Because Of His Sin & That Price Of Sin Is Judgment, Wrath And Hell. Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; ... Revelation 20:14 (KJV) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. #3 He Cannot Save Himself Titus 3:5-6 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. #4 Only Jesus Christ Can Save Him Hebrews 2:9 (KJV) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. #5 He Is Saved By Faith In Jesus Acts 16:31 (KJV) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. I was gonna end my life 7 years ago heard the Devil tell me I'm not strong enough I should quit. I seen I was a sinner in need of the Saviour and the Lord Jesus Christ saved me. My Saviour is risen. I'm Saved By the blood of the lamb of God Lord Jesus Christ. And He can do the same thing for you. What's it gonna be??? I'm now 7 yrs clean off meth and on the winning side. It's good to be saved. Are you ready? Today is the day of salvation. Your choice will effect the rest of your life and where you spend Eternity. Revelation 20:14-15 (KJV) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 21:8 (KJV) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Are you lost or Found? I'm 7 years found. Off meth. A child of God made free by the blood of the lamb of God the Lord Jesus Christ who died on the CROSS for the sins of the world. I once was lost but now I'm found. Jesus saves. Are you saved?
"Definitely try the Johnnycakes, you'll become addicted to them!" - - Vito Spatafore
The Wayside in Montpelier is unbelievable. All these old diners in New England are basically the village square now and are very representative of the community in most cases. Shyrls in Lebanon NH (basically White River Junction VT) is also absolutely delicious with lots of good people
Wish we had this kinda places in Sweden…
Very good. But might want to call this 'Vermont Diners, Sort Of'. Maybe come back now that things are picking back up. Really enjoyed what you have down here, so far. Looking forward to another version of this. Best diner stories are filmed in the winter, hopefully with snow outside (like yours here). Good stuff.
Where does Bernie Sanders eat?
As someone who spent years working a chef in the UK, this is fascinating
Fascinating. The closest we have to this in Australia is pubs I guess. This is so cool! If I ever get a chance to visit America one of the first things I'll do is go to a diner. I hope these guys survived lockdown and everything. Sending love to them!
I'll have the coronary special with a side of stroke!
I really miss this kind of food. I first had this as a high school student from California. I instantly loved it. My family would take us to these diners after church, every other weekend. They were great.
The Sopranos
I love diner`s...but that guy at Handy`s you got to take just a wee bit of time for yourself. Don`t let the place be your 100%.....let it be 95% ...go fishing once a week......go hiking every now & than.......you got good folks there both as helpers & customers..... the diner will be fine.,peace,pj
I love some good diner food, but this aint it. Way too many fries stuffed into a fryer with some of the dirtiest grease I've ever seen. Burnt hamburgers still sitting on the grill, omelette with brown on it, no butter on grill top for those dry looking over easy eggs, etc.... ugh
Di-Nah
I can’t imagine a state that has less seasoning on their food
Nuttin better than a meal and a handy
For a Diner their portions are a bit measly.
I'm in a small town in Northwest Indiana. My growing up in the 70s probably 30 or so diners. Today maybe 10 within a 35 mile radius. I love a good diner meal over a steakhouse 9 outa 10 meals
These rat bastards shut down millions of ma and pa business because of the COVID nonsense with no care or concern of families who had their guts ripped out of em because they lost something that was apart of multiple generations… meanwhile you could shop at big box stores and they got super wealthy over this period… absolutely heartbreaking what these pricks did people like your governor and mayors…
Diners are the best place to eat, maybe the food isn't the most healthiest but to share a greasy sandwich and fries with some buds is an awesome experience. i usually tip pretty good cuz i know these people bust their asses to give us a simple hot lunch and help us get on with our day. I have a favorite, in Buffalo, Iowa, Clarks Landing, definitely worth a visit to anyone who stops at the Quad Cities, you wont leave hungry and you get to see a slice of America that wont disappear anytime soon.
No Johnny cakes?
I grew up in my family's restaurant that started as a sandwich shop in the fishing port of Pillar Point Harbor, Princeton-by-the -Sea in 1975 washing dishes, bussing tables, peeling potatoes, running a manual cash register and mopping floors before and after school and weekends with my two sisters. I continued to work there over a twenty-six year period as it expanded and retracted over that time! It was definitely a focal point in the community not unlike a diner. It's been fifteen years since I've had a hand in it will always be a part of who I am! My younger sister still runs the business but with Covid, the increase in the costs, employee shortages, government restrictions, lease issues with the port, it's only a matter of time after 47 years! I strongly urge communities across our country to spend your money locally you can. The money you spend in your communities stays in your communities not in some Wall Street account! Small businesses used to make up over 50% of America's economy! We need to get back to our roots!
As a small business owner in the South, I agree 100%. Big companies like McDonald's, Amazon, and Wal-Mart vacuum up the money in small communities, and then it's gone. Shop local, eat local!
Windsor diner, and if anyone is old enough to know the old Stubbs and Laura’s diner in Windsor as well, excellent and grew up in that place
As soon as the crackhead pods come on line all of the virtue signalers in Burlington VT are going to get what they voted for.
Sit at the counter of my local diner, the Kernel every Friday.
Eggs must be cooked in a pan.period.
Midway diner was a staple in Rutland for years gone now the town is a garbage pit now empty store fronts drugs lefties with their PC propoganda
Henry's in Burlington was the absolute best
VT Diners are a treat! The Wayside in Berlin is another great diner that comes to mind. Great video!
Their food is likely quite good. Perhaps their fish n fries are quite tasty..
0:01 A nice Summer day in Vermont 😆
Excellent! I'm a native Central Vermonter and can vouch for these diners. Diners are the BEST! Indeed, the Birdseye Diner (Castleton) , Mary's Cafe (West Rutland) , Bob's Diner (!!!) ( Manchester), The Creek House Diner (Bethel), The Blue Benn (Bennington), the Rochester Cafe (Rochester), and the P&H Truck Stop (Wells River) .There a few others that escape my mind. Post pandemic my friends and I are back on the road hitting as many diners as possible. Notable mention for The Port Henry Diner in Port Henry, NY. New Hampshire diner fans also know the places to visit. I live for these places!!!
Hartland Diner
When I lived in the upper valley I frequent Brookshies Diner in Sharon, the Hartford Diner in Hartford, then in WRJ I'd go to the Tallyhouse or the Polkadot, that had a old steam locomotive out front, now they are all gone. When I crossed the bridge into New Hampshire I would go to fort Harry's in Leb. Now know as the fort,
Handy's needs to change their fry oil. That looks like gravy, not oil
The last I knew Sandy's drive in in Sharon changed their oil every day.
The Rutland restaurant in downtown Rutland is a diner, actually, to compete with this.
Most of us DON'T have a full sized GRILL or GRIDDLE in our home kitchens. ALL "DINERS" do! Used EVERY day, 24/7/365! They are WELL seasoned and that ADDS to the great taste their skilled cooks produce from them for ALL of us, their loyal patrons!
RIP Parkway Diner!
Seriously!? Awww man I loved Parkway
@@teslaedison6236Parkway Diner recently reopened actually!
FINALLY! SOMEONE GOT IT RIGHT!
Miss Lyndonville is the best!
