Lort, I miss this moment in time.
Me too.

He also does an excellent Herman Munster impersonation.
Oh man I would love to see that.
Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert were National Treasures. Sometimes I enjoyed watching their program called "At the Movies" more than the actual movies that were playing lol. Their disagreements about certain movies were legendary, and sometimes as entertaining or more entertaining than the actual movies playing that were sometimes flops. Being a poor kid struggling for every dollar in Chicago they saved me a lot of dough and time when it was time to decide which movies to see or ditch and 90% of the time they were right...you can't get better odds than that anywhere! Miss them both and their camaraderie together very much. RIP
I loved "At the Movies." The best part was the disagreements and the resulting arguments.
Film critic - Completely useless “ profession” 😂
ha
Very 80's. Moon was well ahead of her time and everyone that remembers and liked the 80's should read her memoir.
Wow. I'll look into it. Thanks.
Lea's voice was so sweet ❤😊
Three Amigos, Golden Child, and Little Shop of Horros loved them all. Comedy is almost impossible to critique because EVEN IF you get it trying to break it down to why its funny, almost strips the funny away
Yes. Like having to explain a joke ruins the joke.
He did a great Christopher Lloyd impression.
The fact that these guys had a job....was always astounding to me.
Ha yes.
he looks so great
He was the biggest thing in the entertainment business for a few years. I just posted a documentary he hosted in 1985.
@@davidforbesbrown51 He is still attractive in 2024. I fall in love the moment I saw him in BTTF. 💕Thank you for sharing!
These two don't know comedy
They do not. Yet they talk down to Johnny Carson about it...
These 2 critics love them selves
Ha!
Three amigos is great ignore snobby critics
I agree.
Great fun loving interview
It is. I miss the 80s.
Bebe Neuwirth sexy ass and tight ass super dress
Who wrote this ? An attempt to commercialize them- not commercial people. They are waaaay more intelligent and interesting than this ...
It feels like to me, they were young and THEY wrote this. The music is solid.
When they said two thumbs up I saw it
That clearly visible overhead microphone is so distracting.
I know. It was a different time.
Nice! Didn't know there was a series.
It was cancelled pretty quickly - no one was watching.
Ebert is such an asshole. He tried to claim that Chase said to him off camera that he didn’t care for Three Amigos either, despite him claiming it was his favorite film of his own!
This was such a happy time to be alive!
Can we go back?!
@@davidforbesbrown51 In our memories? Yes! What happens if we can't come back?!?
@@cathyhardy6563 If we have a time-Delorian we won't have to come back!
@@cathyhardy6563 We must return, to tell this modern hellscape of a world what it used to be like here and what we need to strive for.
3 Amigos was awful
Never could stand those guys🤡🤮
I really liked this show.
Tossing her hair, "oh" scream, her "acting" is always, always the same.
Yet it fascinates u so much, because here you are again. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so obsessed with a celebrity they claim to dislike. She clearly occupies all of your time The sad part is while you’re wasting your time watching every video of her that exists and commenting on each of them, she’s too busy being rich and successful. That’s probably why you’re so obsessed. You live in an inadequate life so project misery onto her out of jealousy. Judging by your comments, it’s no wonder you’re so miserable
She WAS on that comedy sketch show doing a lot of different characters around this time.
This was really a great segment of television. The interview was fantastic, the guests worked well off each other and the host; it was funny, even a bit tense. No late night show host today could touch Johnny Carson.
Great points and so true.
3 Amigos stunk IMO. Chevy has done some outstanding movies.
I had forgotten the box of cigarettes Johnny kept on the desk… nowadays -what a storm that would make!
Sometimes he'd still be taking a puff when they came back from commercial, and he'd put it under the desk.
Critics are like “if I don’t like it it’s not good”
And they don't get comedy as a rule.
"We G-Raped the horses, and rode away on the women"
Chevy Chase is an a-hole so that is fine.
I'll bet Chevy was so elated to see that guys bottom jaw removed so he couldn't berate anyone ever again.
I’ve not been able to keep S&E in as high regards as I once did. It seems like it really isn’t anything like a science or even a discipline.
But it IS two people getting a big paycheck. That said, I loved their show At the Movies.
One thing you can say these critics had morals the shills today are not honest and are bought and paid for like the rest of media.
Something is funny when you LAUGH
I watch Three Amigos every Cinco De Mayo.
I never took Roger Ebert seriously after I learned he's responsible for one of the worst movies ever made.
Valley of the Dolls.
@@davidforbesbrown51 Beyond the Valley of the Dolls yes. Although one good thing the movie has going for it is an appearance by the Strawberry Alarm Clock.
@@CapAnson12345 I haven't seen it. Sounds... "good" ?
Siskel and Ebert actually hated each other. They actually sucked at their jobs
One thing is almost universally true. If a critic hates a movie it’s almost always going to be a great movie. Critics are a bunch of know nothing snobs that think they are art connoisseurs when in reality movies are just entertainment.
Johnny Carson everytime his guests start to say something meaningful: "Stop talking without me!"
A plethora of critics
You seem to KNOW what plethora means...
Jim Carrey was asked the same questions btw, at the same age.
Letterman actually asked this question to a bunch of successful people.
Stupid critics. These assholes know nothing. 😂
I had my 15, 18, and 20 year old daughters watch Three Amigos with me in 2022 and they laughed very hard. It holds up very well if you like physical comedy.
The cult classic always delivers.
Suddenly Seymore....
Was 3 Amigos no a huge hit??????????? I thought everyone loved that movie.
It's a cult classic.
If those two critics didn't like the movie I was interested in that's the movie I want to go see
Here's my view of Roger and Eber, they stink.!
I liked their show though.
Who cares what these guys think? 3 amigos was a great movie. Here's what stinks, roger and ebert stink
I liked their show though.
