Remember fellas, Mike Mitchell, who directed this, also directed 4 other sequels before this: Shrek Forever After, which is underrated, Alvin & the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water for the live action segments, and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, he's the quintessential sequel director who did good to meh to this and the first Trolls movie back in 2016, the same year as KFP3. Let this sink into your minds for a moment considering this movie.

to be fair? the people at the top where the ones doing a lot of changes and KFP4 was not meant to go through the design it ended with. the truth is? KFP4 had a redeption story for Tai Lung and there was more to the Chamelion other than (i was denied Kung Fu because i was little) the truth is there was way to many changes and it wasn't just done by the director but by the greedy bastards at the top that did not understood art and wanted the movie to come out earlier than expected.

Gotta love the KFP fans creativity 🤣 this was funny to listen😂

who knows maybe theyre money hungry for kung fu panda 5 that only then we will get a tai lung redemption arc. they had their chance to do it now, but refused because they wanted to maintain his integrity as a villain. tai lung says "its time for us go back to the spirit real panda and that irked me but the directors did it on purpose because they wanted to show us that not everyone changes. hence the symbolism of Tai taking the evil lizard with him to the spirit realm. because both wont change. zhen did. BUT what i did like is that as Tai Lung was about to go back into the light he finally adressed him as the Dragon warrior with conviction and respect. and i think its more poetic that way because the staff po carries is litterally supposed to represent good and bad. we like kung fu panda because its a movie with a ton of wisdom. this teaches kids to acknowledge good and bad. and thar you should leave those horses behind that wont drink your water no matter how near you get them to it. overall i rate this movie a 9/10. Tais redemption Arc will come 10 years after GTA 6 when we finally enter an Era of movie flops. Kung Fu panda will come to the rescue i hope

I really wish Stephanie Ma Stine was the director she even wanted tai lungs redemption to be done right to even better saying goodbye to shifu, she wanted the movie to be more emotional and deep like the other two movies whereas Mike Mitchell denied all her ideas and just wanted it to be comedy, that was also the problem with this movie with the comedy, the comedy has to be at its certain limits otherwise it ruins the films and at least thats what 3 got right even though it wasnt nearly as good as the other two.

Kung Fu Panda movies were all funny but were also peak too and had great stories and villains. But I believe someone I saw on RUclips said it best, “Kung Fu Panda 4 is about nothing”

We were waiting for a great movie. A movie of redemption. A movie which will stay in our hearts like the other parts. Mike Mitchell seeks to destroy all that the great writers have written. Brothers, put aside the pain we have filled after 8 years of waiting. We must unite. We must stand together. And we will WIPE OUT THIS PLAGUE. Thai-Lung will be prevail. We must make a petition of realise KFP 4 with the original script with investing soul, with part of redemption and with furious five not only like 3-second cameo. As DC fans bring back the Zack Snyder's JL, we must get the REAL Kung-fu Panda 4, not this f*cking disappointment.

it was good in my opinion, although 3 things i didn't like about it was: the furious 5 and shifu weren't given enough scenes in my opinion, the main villain wasn't really good at all, and didn't have a good backstory, and also... LORD SHEN AND KAI WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FUCKING DEAD
