Two BNSF Trains Meet at Dobbin, TX - BNSF Conroe Subdivision
This is a train meet at Dobbin Junction where a northbound manifest from the BNSF Houston Subdivision (BNSF 5657) waited to turn westbound onto the BNSF Conroe Subdivision after the passing of an eastbound manifest (BNSF 8359).

I got a westbound BNSF H-LALHOU (Lafayette LA-Houston TX), a westbound UP MNOEW (New Orleans LA-Houston Englewood TX), and the westbound Amtrak Sunset Limited both passing Dayton, and later on passing southwest Houston. This video features the BNSF L-CSY115 local making it's Tuesday morning run all the way to Tomball. I couldn't get here before they arrived to do their work, but I got this video of them reversing back down to Casey Yard in north Houston. This is my chase video of the CPKC 2816 Empress train running through the Houston area along the Union Pacific Houston Subdivision as it was headed towards Mexico City. The chase starts at the east side of Dayton near the uphill climb out of the Trinity River. The next catch is at the Liberty Road crossing on the far east end of Union Pacific's Englewood Yard. 4 trains I filmed along the BNSF Houston Subdivision between Karen (Milepost 99) and Casey Yard (Milepost 71) in March 2024. BNSF 1093 (H1) lead the daily H-TEAAMY in this video, along with a few other passing trains, and a local switching power around at Casey Yard. The first train also had a surprise executive MAC trailing behind the leading H2 dash 9. Thanks For Watching!

Interesting. I have driven over the the tracks at Slaton many many times on my way to and from Lubbock. I didn't know trains arriving there had traveled from the Houston area.

Fun Fact: Back then in 2013, this was used to be the last SP Painted Dash 9, In 2015, It was repainted due to fire damage or smth.

That was nice thank you it’s nice to see the actual storm. Come in and run. Yeah sure I would like some lightning dark skies etc. but the main thing is I got to see the storm and not somebody just talking or the storm Raven 20 screens up like make sure you subscribe now I’m like us and send us money. I remember that day. It stormed down the coast, too. Why don't they put patio covers on homes here anymore? I know mine isn't custom but has a chimney.

How many number of trains use the Lufkin Subdivision
Lufkin Sub sees 5-8 trains per day. On the lesser side south of Livingston since a few rock trains that run weekly to Humble, New Caney, Cleveland and Livingston run between there and Houston only. Mostly manifest straight south from Shreveport, occasionally a grain train or pipe train. A once daily Z train in the morning too. BNSF Conroe subdivision runs about 6-8 trains per day
