Can this little Pit Boss pellet grill replace my Masterbuilt electric smoker?
Просмотров 4,3 тыс.2 года назад
I decided to jump on this Pit Boss pellet grill to see if it really could replace my Masterbuilt Electric Smoker I have had the last 2 years. I enjoyed my Masterbuilt but it really bigger than I need and maybe the Pit Boss can take up less space and get me closer to that charcoal flavor that I was used to before I made the switch to a Weber Gas grill ⚡Mentioned In This Video ➡️Pit Boss Portable...

How much hours last, by or each baterry?
I was researching grill and I can't buy these Coleman grill. One main reason is that water pan is hard to find if it needs replacing. That water pan holds the grill plate. If the pan rust out or becomes too weak then their isn't anything to hold the plate. Finding parts is an underrated thing that people don't talk about. I decided on the weber grill. It is good and it last longer.
You may as well hang a “4 sale” sign on that Weber.
Try fajitas, it works well
No temp probe have buy separate. Bought mine at a Lowes store probe came 2 in pack for $20
Great review. Did this come with the thermometer?
Just got this grill. Everything i cook sticks so bad. I’ve tried putting oil on the grates. Can someone help? Lol
Portability and set up Good.... cooks well but does not do especially well in the wind due to the gaps the grate creates all around the grill.....Expensive., Thin flimsy metal and my biggest complaint is cleanup on the grates is a bear....I will most likely revert back to my charbroil infrared grill...,probably the best grill I've had so far
excellent review! subscribed
How do you install drip pan
Was yours uneven when you first set it up?
Excellent review Sir!
Nice video. Any chance of an update video on how it treated you?
Good review - thank you!!
Just wondering what those small chains are used for? Mine came off and I have a small bar with chain.
the long metal stick like thing is pretty interesting. I was confused at first. But you use it as a match extension for if you use a match to light the grill so you don’t get burned.
Wish me luck. Single Mom, not handy trying to put this together
You can do this! It wasn't that bad and I know you got it done.
I’m a single dad! You got this keep your head up!
@Noah Rowland I got it ♡ & I love it. Single Dads are the best. Most Dads (in my world) are not Dads at all. It's very admirable when you see a single dad that stepped up and accepted responsibility. Single mom is common but no matter how long I've been Single I don't seem to get any more handy unfortunately 🤣
This grill looks as if it is easy to setup and transport. I like the feature where you can lock the lid while moving the grill to different areas. Jerry
It's been a great addition for our outdoor adventures
Just got home with mine. Gonna throw some chicken breasts on it tonight
Sweet! Thanks for commenting
Sorry to inform you but you can't use a bigger propane tank, look at the directions
I will check it out again and follow up. Thanks Kyle
What is the metal thing hanging on the bottom of the grill on the right side? How do you use it?
you use it as a match extension for if you use a match to light the grill so you don’t get burned
There is a review comment posted Jul 30, 2021 on HD website that indicates at least three of these 4 inch fans tested had issues after using the fan in an unusual orientation. The fan was pointed up. Not sure if there is good application for that orientation, but the fan supposedly made bad noises after using it in this manner. If so it may indicate a design defect. For those who are interested in this fan, but wonder if the problem is real, it would be very helpful if you could test this (test may take time as HD review does not indicate how long it took to malfunction) and post a video of the test to confirm or not if this is a real concern. Thanks
I have 2 and I haven't had any issues. I like to take them with us to the beach and also camping. There could be something with how the fan is oriented, I will have to check it out to see.
I had the problem after one week the fan was making horrible noises. After removing the torx screws that are holding the front covers together lay the fan flat on table or something and carefully remove green cover so the cover holding the wires doesn't get pulled out of place. Then remove the fan propeller from the stater part and use a good amount of quality grease in the shaft hole and around it and on the fan shaft part then reassemble. Noise went away completely and fan works great again .
Thanks. Ordering one now.
It’s great! We used ours just today fishing
Can you use the hose to connect to the RV propane?
I haven't personally tried using with the RV but I did find a link online that talks about it and that you may have to make some kind of modification to make it work - www.etrailer.com/question-315743.html
I just ordered this and ordered a heavier duty steel braided 1lb to 20lb hose. Glad to see you like it.
How did it work out for you? Would love to hear it.
@@outdoorsfortherestofus it won't light in the cold and the side handles broke off. otherwise it works great.
Hey did that hose for the 20lb work out for ya? Ive seen some mixed opinions on that.
I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet. I was planning on trying it out maybe next weekend. I will let you know what I think when I use it.
@@outdoorsfortherestofus thanks!
I got one too and I wonder if the extension works with my RV.
I've had one for my roadtrip for years, works great!
you think with the new heighten security at ball parks that these fans are permitted? You know those scary stories of leaking batteries, burning an entire village.
That's a good question. I could see them possibly not allowing in ball parks at security. Probably would need to call before hand.
Good video I just got this grill today for tomorrow the 4th and it came with no hardware. The 2 bolts and the 1 long bolt the whole hardware bag was not there I had to use some bolts I had that are not the right ones. I called Coleman and they said they have no extra parts so I will probably have to bring it to home depot and get the right hardware. Hey do you know what that thing hanging from a chain from the legs is for ?
Thanks for watching! And that stinks about the hardware. The quickest thing would be to exchange it. Oh and the long metal stick like thing is pretty interesting. I was confused at first. But you use it as a match extension for if you use a match to light the grill so you don’t get burned.
@@outdoorsfortherestofus Ooooh Ok makes sense now lol I just unscrewed it and took it off. And the hardware I'm just going to bring the whole grill to home depot and buy it then call Amazon and ask for some kind of discount since Coleman didn't have the hardware. BTW I still haven't used it I got to Jones Beach and find out you can't bring a grill on the beach smh. Thanks for responding you taught me the first new thing I'll learn to day hope you had a great holiday 😁✌
Had the same issue unfortunately I ordered this online..... Do you know what size screws for the wheels??
@@omarflores102690 Unfortunately no I don't but I called Coleman and they didn't have it either lol so they mailed me a whole new grill all you need is your proof of purchase. So I have 2 now I use 1 as a stationary grill and the other as my bring anywhere grill. Come to think of it I should take the bolts out I have on the good grill and match them up at home depot when I get a chance. Good luck and it is a fantastic grill ✌️
@@omarflores102690 BTW got mine online too Amazon just screen shot your receipt Coleman will send you a link to send it to and that's it you get another grill in a few days
