“Without its heart” implies it has a heart, which it doesn’t
@guille_dlc Ah Your right, I should have worded it better. Thanks for your comment and for letting us know.
great video! so informative and beautifully presented. but honestly, i can't help but wonder if we really learned our lesson from losing Steller's Sea Cow. i mean, there are still so many species on the brink of extinction, and it feels like we’re just repeating history. what do you all think?
@AncientWildTV Thanks for the compliment! It does feel like we’re stuck on repeat with extinction. Maybe we need a “save the species” playlist to remind us of the hits we can’t afford to lose! But I do think history will keep repeating itself until we all learn and understand some of the species we have lost and the reasons we lost them.
Why was the saund effect so loud
@ClaraNoel-qx5fj I just wanted a bit of comedic effect, But upon reviewing I do see that it was too loud, Thanks for pointing it out and I will tone that stuff down for future video's
this video is really well-made and informative, i appreciate the effort you put into it! however, i can’t help but wonder if the portrayal of the Haast's Eagle as just a ruthless predator oversimplifies its role in the ecosystem. i mean, didn’t it also face challenges and adapt in ways we might not fully understand? sometimes it feels like we glorify these predators without considering the bigger picture. what do you all think?
@AncientWildTV Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback! You raise an excellent point-while the Haast's Eagle was indeed a formidable predator, its role in the ecosystem went beyond just being a hunter. As with all apex predators, it contributed to a delicate balance, influencing prey populations and the health of its environment. The adaptations it developed over time, like its massive talons and unique hunting strategies, were not just about ruthlessness but survival within a dynamic and challenging ecosystem. We wanted to highlight its power and mystery in this video, but you’re absolutely right-there’s so much more complexity to consider. This eagle faced environmental challenges and evolved alongside the other unique species of ancient New Zealand, like the Moa. Exploring those adaptive traits and environmental interactions could add a whole new layer to understanding its story! What other aspects of the Haast’s Eagle’s life do you think would be interesting to explore? Thanks again for sharing this perspective-it’s great to have such meaningful discussions here!

Humans caused the extinctions, we should bring them back, since we have the technology to do so!🤔
@lennardreloza9854 Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's a complex topic, and I appreciate your engagement in this conversation about our responsibility to the planet. I agree that we should bring them back since we are responsible for their extinction but think more research needs to be done on the impacts to todays ecosystem.
Thor respects the Wolverine.. 😊
@ebbhead20 Right? I can just imagine them sitting down for a coffee, exchanging battle stories while trying to one-up each other! 😀
And they don't make good pets !
@Hayden.table True! I mean, I wouldn’t want a pet that tries to eat my shoes instead of fetching a ball! Sounds like you might be saying that from experience. 😀
Dodo. Yum
Dodo for dinner? Just make sure it doesn't fly away before you eat it!
You sound like KSl
Thanks for the comparison! KSI is an amazing creator, and I'm flattered to be mentioned alongside him. If I start rapping and boxing, you’ll know I’ve officially made it!

As a matter of interest, when zebras give birth, they shield the newborn for some time ,so that it will recognize its mother’s stripes, as all their stripes are unique
@tilanawest1613 Thank you for contributing such an interesting piece of information! It's amazing how unique each zebra's stripes are and how they help in bonding. I always wondered how the young recognise their mother
Cows stare at stuff like a human would stare at if they were bored and had nothing else better todo .. they’re curious and interested in the things they stare at … it’s usually cars , and it’s usually in areas where cars tend to crash that they will gather to stare ..
@daniellevy4104 Wow, I did not know about them staring like that and with the cars, It’s like they’re judging our driving skills! “Oh look, another human attempting to park. This should be good!” Thank you very much for giving further insight into Cows.
Wingspan of a propeller?
Oops, propellers do not have a wingspan 😂, I can not believe I said the propeller has a wingspan. Thanks for letting us know
I'll bet the Haitians are eating them.
@cheryltrozelle4855 If it were true I am sure a lot would disappear,
Secretly it’s the poor Europeans nobody talks about. Haitians and maybe Venezuelans sounds more believable for some dumb reason.
@silverskyscraper1179 Ah, the mystery of the invisible Europeans! Maybe they just need to add some flair to their stories to grab attention.
Sonic IS a hedgehog
👍
You should also mention that faux bees, flies, moths, butterflies, slugs, wasps, and beetles (among other things) ALSO POLLINATE OUR FOOD SUPPLY!!! So please y'all, stop killing bugs "just because" 🤞😿🤞
Thank you for highlighting that! It's a great reminder that we need to appreciate and protect all pollinators, big and small.

@@WildBeastFacts yes
What a way to prove superiority by killing every other life form, way for human kind........😢
@dickharvee4539 I agree, Humanity has done it time and again to species after species and it definitely is time to stop.

@aidansfuntime479 It does live longer but it is hard to count the Immortal Jellyfish as it can revert to earlier life forms so it don't die. But you are 100% right,

My domestic cat can run 50 mph too, when I open a tin of cat food.
@eroseland 😂 That sounds like my dog, she can barely move unless there is food around
IS NOT QLIM TREE QUVS QUITAJ NO GROUP PACK ORGANIZATION PREDITOR LION ROAR BURK DOG
I do not understand what you are saying
Another fun fact. Female lion average life span is 16; males, 10-11.
@Pragmatist1st Wow, I didn't know that, Thanks heaps for letting us know that fact
This is not a fun fact, it is due to the fact that a lion has to defend its pride against intruders all his life and assert his dominance over the pride. If he dies, the new one takes over the pack and nothing happens to the ladies. Unless their male is attacked by an younger lion that they consider not to be mature enough, then they fight that one too (which is very rare). And if another lion takes over the pride, he will usually kill the cubs of his defeated rival to give his DNA a chance to spread and wipe out his rival's DNA. When this happens, lionesses usually (it can happen tho, but I don't really know the circumstandes needed for this kind of behaviour) do not defend their cubs, which also affects their life expectancy.
@Z0RDR4CK Wow! I did not know all that even after all the research I done, I did not realise there was such competition between prides and what the Lions do to rival cubs. Thank you very much for giving us all this great information.
Has no one seen how Jurassic World ends 💀
@DoubleRR18 I know, These scientists should step away from the lab and watch the movies to see how it will likely end 🤞
@@WildBeastFacts I’m saying they need to stop trying to play God
@@DoubleRR18 I agree, I always think that they just need to look what usually happens with new introduced species and the havoc they cause to native animals
@@WildBeastFacts facts we don’t need to bring anything back or create a new species God got rid of them for a reason

Why don't we ever see the dinosaur chicken they cloned about 10 years ago?
@TheAussieguy2009 I didn't see that one when I was researching these. Did they have much success with the clone?
@@WildBeastFacts they evidently did clone one and the photo posted says you really would't want them breeding. It was about ten, maybe twelve years back.
@TheAussieguy2009 I will have to look it up and see, it sounds like we should be glad they did not breed and it must have failed.
