Please I need you help am tuning my A4.2.5 tdi with mechanical pump but it doesn't pull. and if is hot it difficult to start. Please did you use 11mm or 12mm pump head. Please am mechanic. Please I need your help and contact thank you
He I used the stock pump head Whats youre timing on the pump And what pump are you using
very nice, my advice is you need to install brackets to hold injection pipe steady otherwise the pipes will break one after another due to vibrations
In my last video I secured the pipes with clamps, in this video it was all still testing
Loopt prachtig die v6. Klinkt al mooi zo met de turbo aangesloten. Heel mooi gemaakt. Ben benieuwd hoe hij klinkt in de boot onder belasting. Dan zul je die turbo nog beter horen 😊.
Bedankt voor je reactie! Ben zelf ook heel benieuwd wat die zal doen in de boot, heb nog steeds de boot niet zover zit met een probleem met de spiegel deze moet strak worden gemaakt maar slaag hier niet in.

Great build, doing m57 myself and was wondering do you use microswitches on the gear selectors mechanism to temporary kill the engine? Or do you find it works fine selecting gears at idle?
thanks for your response, I have never sailed with this engine. With the V6 TDI I could simply shift gears without any problems. this was with an omc heck drive. I now have a Bravo drive so this wouldn't cause any problems
Hello I have found a solution for that after maaaaany hours. Mine is also the M51D25 engine and alpha one drive . You can contact me if you want.

Nice work! Will that heat exchanger be enough for that engine?? if you ask me i m thinking to instal in charge pipe system a flap,if something happends with turbo so that you can stop it!!😊
thanks for your comment! I had the same heat exchanger in my first boat and it produces 220 kW, so in theory it could cool such an engine. and of course there will be a valve in the boost pipe just in case 😉
Whats the name of manufacture of that heatexchanger? i never seen that tiny,since i only had big or long "boilers" heatexchanger from mercruiser or similar..

Thanks for youre reaction. I think its not possibele on the 3.0 beqause this enginen use a comonrail white high pressure pump. It is maybe possibele with different injectors. Dont now how many HP mine dose yet still working on it i will soon upload a new video of it !!

Ja zeker deze motor komt gewoon uit een auto, ik bouw hem alleen om voor in de boot.
My experience with M-TDIs says that with mechanical pump hi rev torque reduces quite a lot. Everything works perfectly though
Howdy! I did a few years ago what you are doing now. If you allow me, I'll give you a piece of advice, you need to reduce the opening pressure at the injectors because otherwise the injection pump won't last too long. The pump will start to make iron filings at the plunger coupling and you will compromise the entire fuel system, injectors , tank, pipes... ask me how I know ;)

good job bruh, the only thing you might run in to is your turbo and your exhaust manifold are going to get gloowing hot in a boat , im building a jet driven om606 superturbo for my 20 foot searay boat its almost done , just have to do some extra piping for my heat exchangers and connect controls.

Hoi Jeremy, vraagje ik zie dat je een OMC gebruikt in combinatie met dit blok, maar hoe doe je dat met schakelen van de cobra? Normaal zit er een ESA op die de ontsteking kort onderbreekt zodat hij makkelijk schakelt.
Ik heb daar een oplossing voor gevonden. Zie bovenstaande reactie.
