@Smqll_Fry It's possible, but when the sensors are in place, it's as good as sealed so long as they don't move around too much. Therefore, I only recommend cutting a sensor open after troubleshooting, and you know it needs to be cleaned. All of my sensors in that pad have been cleaned like this and I have not had any problems.

I completely relate. It also took me a lot of tries to figure out the best way to do this mission, especially when an item is needed, the mission description is slightly wrong, and there is that weird pattern toward the end.

Got it used. A friend found two of them being sold off from a YMCA that closed down, so I fixed both of them up. They were in pretty bad shape. There was a thick layer of dirt and acorns inside the pads, so who knows where they were stored. The cab insides were incredibly dusty and preventing the cooling fan from working, so sometimes it wouldn't even boot. There were missing screws, which I replaced. I used a rust remover compound to clean up some bolts and the metal pads. I know I could keep making small improvements like repainting the bars, but there is the law of deminishing returns, so I'm happy with the current state of things. Visitors often comment on how nice it looks. Good luck with your new purchase! I had a lot of fun trying to figure out how to fix all the little things here and there, and I'm sure you will too. It's very rewarding.

I don't know for sure. The arcade hardware I have is an official MK9 with the original nVidia GeForce graphics card, so it should run everything from Fiesta to Phoenix. I assume a higher-end graphics card will have backward compatibility and should not be a problem. I know there are other people on RUclips who have built a custom MK9, so those videos may be worth a look to get more information.

@@DrunkJackal I'm ask Boss PIUVN with their MK10v2 build. He says, they put GTX750ti for Phoenix in MK10v1 doesn't boot at all and just stuck. I saw in osvixx video MK9 Upgrade with GT 710 but the problem was Geforce 700 series are hard to find, and my region has a lot FAKE GPU CARD. Even the real one with second-hand use got glitching already was baffles to me.

If properly centered, the difference is negligible. I can still see the modifier list on the side in its entirety. The number of benefits greatly outweighs the drawbacks in the old screen. If it is still a concern, there are some 42" plasma TVs out there. I was actually surprised that 43" became the standard in newer models, but it worked out just fine.

A 43" screen will add about 1/4" to the top and bottom edges each, and will add about 7/16" to the left and right edges each when compared to a 42" screen.

Yes, absolutely. Diagonally, the screen is an inch longer than the factory installed model, so I had to try a couple times to get it centered without significant visual cropping around the edges. If I stand on one side of the pads, I can still see the full detail of the activated modifiers (speed, note skin, etc.).
