Yeah, im gonna give some tips, you probably hear most Controls: Alt+Left Click while the mouse is above an item to favorite it, so you don't accidentally drop it, sell it or put in a random chest On the right of your trash slot you have useful things like the bestiary, to show creatures that you already found and information, quick stack to put matching items on nearby chests, and there's the sort inventory. There's some buttons in chest like loot all to pick all items from a chest, restock to pick only items you have on your inventory, quick stack to put only items that are already in the chest Use the guide for learning crafting recipes, it shows even where you need to craft it In the settings - general you can turn autofire on to just hold to attack instead of mashing your mouse If you click control you can alternate between smart cursor and normal cursor, it's useful for mining If you press B you drink all buff potions in inventory, and if you press F1, F2 and F3 you can cycle through loadouts of armor, so you can have different sets of equipments and armor for different things Gameplay: Circling bosses usually it's a really good strategy Water candles from the dungeon increase spawn rate of enemies, if you need to farm some item You can reforge items with the goblin tinkerer to boost them a bit, really useful with accessories, I recommend you get "Warding" on your accessories, since it gives +4 defense for each you have equipped If you make a wall and put 3 platforms on one side and hammer the platforms you create a small bug called "hoik", it's pretty useful since it allow the passage of things from one side but not from the other, so you can shoot enemies from behind walls There's things called flasks, it's a potion that remains after death and lasts during 20 minutes, it allows melee weapons and sumonner whips to inflict certain debuffs on enemies, really useful for boss battles, the ichor from those ichor stickers makes a really solid debuff that reduces enemy defense Buff potions matter a lot on bossfights, if you are struggling with a boss try making a simple set of potions (regeneration, swiftness, ironskin and a random food) There's something called NPC happiness, if you make npcs happy they'll lower prices, the will be happy in biomes they like and near npc's they like, but the contrary can happen too Separate the crimson biome from your jungle, or it will infect it in hardmode, and you will need the jungle, make a hole with like 3~4 blocks diameter And well, there's my tips for now, maybe I'll put some more on a next video, good luck on your journey

The colorful water in underground is called shimmer. As far as I know, dropping items on shimmer will give you something in return. You can drop star, heart, fruits and etc. But there are only certain items that will give you different items in return so you can't just drop whatever items you have

Now you can use literal guns! I'm surprised nobody told you about guns There's a shotgun on the Jungle that works amazingly for Skeletron It's useless now XD But you have the clockwork gun and it's a good one for early Hard Mode Still, you'll need bullets, the arms dealer should move soon or right away now, tou can buy bullets from him Even better, if you find the magician in the underground you can get the Crystal Ball and make the infinite Bullet bag, for regular bullets only Ichor bullets are the way to go in Hard Mode since it lowers defenses for enemies At this point you'll need the Uzu from those long plants in the jungle or the Minishark ir Shotgun, both from the Arms Dealer Some NPC sell different stuff i they're in a Graveyard Biome You HAVE to create this biome by placing a bunch of gravestones on the same area This Bione has a special mist called Ecto Mist and as long as its around you, you'll be able to craft a bunch of stuff too Like a Shovel! Works amazing to mine 3x3 blocks of Sand, Dirt, Clay, Snow, Silt and the blocks from the underworld Everything except stone related blocks But specially in the Underworld cuz it makes mining Hellstone ores way easier And this is the most important thing You have to issolate your spawn area Mine all the way to the underworld in both sides where the BGM changes and where your house doesn't shows anymore in your minimap Cuz from now on, the Crimson and Hallow will spread and very quickly, changing all the biomes on their way making them way harder Trust me, you don't want a Crimson or Hallow'ed Jungle This infection starts when you beat the Wall of Flesh creating a V on your world This diagonal lines have both Crimson and Hallow on each side All you can do is try to issolate all the biomes or only your spawn area as i said above Beware with the Sky/Space There are new strong enemies too Try mining the new ores you got from the demon altars You don't need to make armor of weapons, just upgade your pickaxe if you can But if you feel it's too hard then go ahead and make armor from each new tier Pro tip, if you want to avoid new bosses naturally spawning just stay in the underground and it'll never spawn, only if you're in the surface On the other hand, some invasions may occur Goblin and Pirate invasion are mandatory and it won't stop until you fill a progress bar Harder Blood Moon and Eclipses will occur too and this ones stops once Day and Night respectively come You can also talk to the guide to se what you can craft with any material you show to him and it even tells you wich crafting station you need along with other materials Like Wood will show Iron/Lead to craft Chests and the regular workbench

Souls are obtained from underground enemies of the hallow or corruption/crimson, and are good for crafting (ask the guide) Smashing demon altars in the underground corruption/crimson adds a random corruption/crimson block in the world but also adds a new hardmode metal thats better than the last Spoiler: The next bosses up are the mechanical bosses. Use souls of night and light to craft their summons, ask the guide for the recipe.

‏‪22:03‬‏ there's more than soul of night, there's actually a soul of light, which is in the underground hallow, hallow is the new biome after reaching hardmode, soul of light and soul of night can be the ingredients to summon the mechanical bosses

Well done my guy, so far, ive defeated the 3 mechs, but plantera was a pain, so spoiler alert if you fight plantera

There will be a new biome above surface and underground that will slowly spread, underground it will have crystals growing that you can mine. They are useful for crafting, if you use the guide crafting menu. Also, the first thing you'll want to make is a pickaxe of the new ores, so you can mine the next level up. Then you can make other things if you have enough bars.

If you sick getting knocked around, theres a Shield that prevent knockback in the gold chest at the dungeon

The best way to waste all your coins is through the goblin Npc. Gotta get those best modifiers for your weapon but at what cost lol. You gonna get broke in an instant but those modifiers is pretty good buff and there are different best modifiers out there defending on what type of weapon you are forging

I have playing this game for too long but I just realized it now that I can use hammer to destroy the crimson heart, I always use bomb on it lol

As far as I can remember, you doesn't get fall damage when you drop on cloud blocks so sometimes I use cloud and put them at the very end of the elevator I made so I can just jump and doesn't have to worry anymore about fall damage

The reason why bosses doesn't drop that much is because of the difficulty your world is set in. You would get much more interesting stuff if the world is set in expert or master difficulty

When you feel like you're stuck, you can just talk to the guide and he'll give hint on what to do next. He'll keep having new things to talk about everytime you advance to the game.

Can you see that three body-shaped icons when going to inventory? The one with green and two grey color. That icon let you have more than one class. It's like you can equip your character a three different class. It's pretty neat when you want to change class in a middle of a boss fight in just one click. You have to set them up yourself of course. The green one means the set up or slot you're currently using, I think. I also use them sometimes for gears/equipment that boost my fishing

I appreciate that you are doing a semi-blind play-through of this game, so I'd like to share some tips: - 4:23 The pink liquid is called "Shimmer." Shimmer can be used to "uncraft" items and "transmute" them into other items when you drop them into it. When you fall into it, it makes you fall through solid blocks until an opening happens. There are more uses, like throwing items like a Life Crystal or a Mana Crystal into it, or making an NPC villager fall into it. - If you didn't know, underneath your hotbar it shows all active buffs/debuffs, which includes stuff like potion buffs, healing potion cooldowns, enemy Banner buffs, minions summoned, and more. "Positive" buffs (like minions summoned) can be canceled by right clicking on them. - Once you enter Hardmode, new enemies start to spawn which include Wraiths and Ichor Stickers. Your next goal should be do defeat the mechanical bosses.

High in the sky where the harpys are found is where a new creature is found, if you kill it it will drop a usefull item to craft with, also you should talk to the guide and click crafting and if you put an item in the box it will tell you everything you can make with that item.

If you hold the shift button, you will pull out a relevant tool for mining or chopping trees, or if you're not hovering over a block, it pulls out a light source, a torch if you're not in water, or a glowstick if you are. This really helps free up your hotbar.
