@@PourChoicesShow couple of them, the first being if we elected presidents that way we would have wound up with Hilary Clinton as areas of Trump and she is a terrible person. Second, if we elected presidents based on popular vote a charismatic person who is good at persuading people but have bad motives and wants to do bad things could get into office. Some of the worlds worst leaders in history have gotten power because they were able to convince a little more than half the population to give them the power and I believe systems like that only hurt the people especially in the long term.
