Thanks for the tutorial - this is so under appreciated, and often ignored. So many songs are ruined by mappers not doing efforts for tight mappings. This tutorial voids any excuses for poor mappings. THANKS DUDE

how do you change the note colors without changing the environment... like making a chroma map which i dont know how to do
If you press Tab it’ll open a side menu, click the color wheel. You’ll be able to set global cover overrides or use Chroma to paint the notes. If you want to clear your selection you’ll just have to use the middle mouse click on the colors you want to clear

Hell yea, love me some beat saber content. Can I just suggest something, add mods and spice up your gameplay somehow. You have the skill clearly, give people a reason to watch you over others :)

Weird question, but every time I go to save the song info, Chromapper just crashes. I’ll have both the the cover and song in correct formats (png and ogg), but it won’t let me access the editor
This might be a weird follow up, but did you select the difficulty you want to map and press the save button on the difficulty itself? If you have 2 check marks on the left and a saved diff to edit on the right you should be good to go

Great tutorial actually! I have one issue at the moment maybe you know how to resolve. I wanna test my map but the practice button is greyed out. I understand that you cannot use the play button until it is published, but i am unable to use practice button as well. Any ideas to why this be happening? Preash preash for the other infor otherwise!
Could be a malformed file. Assuming you’re using CM and not doing anything extra to it (like environment enhancements or other manual edits to the file) it should work otherwise. You could try going back through your auto saves to find a time when it worked, or, if you have discord you can join the BSMG server and ask in the mapping discussion channel. You can post your zip file of the map there too and someone could take a closer look at it
I never thought mapping with OST 6 lights was possible
It is! You just have to use the Official Editor and make your own lights (auto lights won’t work)

Yeah! Can use a sound replacer mod. Though I admittedly should’ve made them a bit quieter. They’re kinda loud :/
@@TheCzar94yoo, how do u get your sound files to work, I made a folder with both .ogg files and they pop up ingame, yet they dont change anything
