Beat it at age 9 through sheer force of will and months of failure along with just 1 other kid in school. None of the other kids even knew what it was. played it again lately and can hardly clear a single stage convincingly even though there are now endless perfect walkthroughs for it. Truly brutal game at the time and now. Best MM memory was when a friend got MM2 for his Birthday and got me around to play it. Completed it about 9pm same day, He refused to play just wanted to watch me beat it. Better days for sure.

The resolution is bad but yeah, go for it man

@@mocktoid That would be horrible, good thing we don't know nobody where that was the case :p. For Love 2014 any i have Sum of Best 6:21 and PB 6:23 :-x, want something like that for love 3 <3. Need to try upwarps before you push the WR sub 9. Watching you i noticed a crucial mistake i seem to make with trying upwarps, when i fix that i hopefully get them more frequently. So, it's jumping a certain high, waiting to hit the floor and THEN jump 0px? Thats something i did wrong (me beeing not smart).

@@oskilled8576 Yeah, more or less. Jump to the right height, on the frame that you land on (or, technically, I guess it's the frame right before you land), you release your jump button and hit your other buttons, also in one frame, to cause the 0px jump. If you do those four pixel-perfect things right, you got it, lol. But at least you can try it a bunch of times in a short amount of time.

@@mocktoid upwarps almost made me hate Love3, i think i stick with 100%. Last 1 hour of wall humping, i had 0 upwarps. Best of luck getting the WR! Can't wait to see your next PB :)

This video rendered really weird. I didn't change any settings, so zero clue.

Gonna go for upwarps in L3, L16, and L18. There's also a really annoying one 1 L11 and there's an extreeeeemely difficult one in L23. That's all I know of so far... it'd be cool to see if they could help anything 100% 🤔

@@mocktoid Best of luck! Because you wrote "3 last levels" i got confused. Was also thinking about doing L3 and L18, but i have no clue which are harder or easier. I did not come around to practice wall humping all that much and only managed to do one with joy2key and about an hour of humping.

Of the two, L18 is probably easier. Upwarps are one of those tricks that you just have to practice about 800,000,000 times until your brain slowly figures it out. It sucks. And yeah I still feel weird about the joy2key thing but I dunno. The most unfair thing would be to have the trick possible with a keyboard but not a controller.
