Nice catches indeed, also liked your panning and zooming shots. I also liked the sound of the train approaching at 21:20: particularly I think I hear faint traction motor sounds, which I don't think is the humming of the rails because I hear pitch variations.

Tbh it would have been nice for Marc to keep the multi level sets totally intact. They don’t look good with a Kawasaki on it. Is it because the mp36s can’t pull another multi level? I know that at njt the diesels can pull or push a max of 6 multi levels not including the dp units
"I heard" is something I never rely on unless I can get independent verification.If it is something I saw with my own eyes, I say so - along with where I saw it.

Don"t get me wrong i love marc trains but i truly disagree with the fact that they gone totally diesel,when the aem-7"s were retired"which never should have happened in the first place",i don"t believe they use the hhp"s anymore,so no catenary needed for the this service anymore,that was a bad move in my opinion.
they should have stayed with electric, more efficiency and better for the environment.
@@dbtheking7663 MARC is a mixed-service operator; the Penn Line is the only electrified line. Thus they run both HHP-8s and ACS-64s under the wires here. (The HHP-8s are in both MARC and MDOT (one that I know of) livery; I've seen the one in MDOT paint @ Ivy City; the ACS-64s can be in both MARC and AMTRAK livery. The reason for the AMTRAK livery is because AMTRAK operates them under contract for MARC; AMTRAK can - and has - operated as Lend/Lease agent for MARC; it leased KHI bi-levels to SEPTA for use on the Elwyn line while the Silverliners were benched.) The Camden and Brunswick lines have no caternaries at all - and Ivy City is a combined-service yard (MARC, AMTRAK, and VRE all have trainsets there) - thus if the diesel sets for the Canden and Brunswick lines need work, they have to come to Ivy City (or even to Bear DE - MUCH further up the NEC) to get it. NJ Transit has a similar pickle; it has two electrified lines - both - like MARC's Penn Line and SEPTA's Wilmngton Line - are NEC overlays. SEPTA is the only passenger rail operator to have no diesel locomotives in the eastern United States form Washington DC to Maine - even MBTA, like MARC and NJT - has no electric rail lines outside of where they overlay the NEC - the Providence/Stoughton Line.)

While technically, MARC - or even AMTRAK - can put up wind turbines on land that they own, they are as subject to the permitting process that ANY wind turbine permittee is subject to - which has been, in fact, the biggest obstacle to wind power anywhere.

Kawasaki bi-levels are common on the Penn Line - despite the caternaries - for two reasons; it is MARC's largest line by passenger count - even outside of rush hour - while all of MTA Train Service took it in the neck due to Covid-19, the Penn Line did not lose the lead it had over the rest of MARC's rail lines despite it losing everything from Perryville to Elkton; it would be like the Paoli/Thorndale line losing everything west of Radnor or east of Villanova.
